Alone with God

Don't give him an inch.

Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Have you ever found yourself struggling to pray, feeling as if your prayers were not getting past the ceiling of your room?

We've all experienced this a time or two in our lives. The enemy will do everything possible to distract us and keep us off our knees. Satan understands that prayer changes things, friend, do not give the devil one inch, Satan knows that our prayers have the ability to move the hands of God, that is why he hates it when we pray for our family and loved ones because he knows that God will move when we come to Him in prayer. So what does he do? He attacks our minds trying to disrupt our time in prayer. Don't believe me?, have you ever been in prayer when out of nowhere ungodly perverted thoughts begin to flood your mind? Satan is attacking our minds, because he knows that if he can do that, eventually we'll give up, close our Bibles and go about the day. When this happens friends, he's won the fight.

The next time you are being attacked by the enemy, Ephesians 6:13 tells us to stand firm, don't give him one single inch, eventually when we commit ourselves to God, James 4:7 says that the devil must flee, darkness cannot overcome the light of Jesus Christ!
