He alone has the key of knowledge in his keeping, as Holy Scripture says, and he himself is the key, and he lets in whom he will through the inspiration of his grace, without breaking the seal. Jesus does this for his lovers: not for all alike, but for those who are specially inspired to seek truth in Holy Scripture, with great devotion in prayer preceded by great diligence in study.”
