John the Baptist was characterized as a voice crying out in the wilderness. An important message being proclaimed to and for anyone who would listen in an area where nobody was hearing. During the same time period there existed an abundance of people proclaiming the available scriptures. The truth was within earshot but many felt they either already knew it or didn’t need it.

Sometimes I feel those sharing the real Bible message and social media parallel this situation.
