The Differentiation of God into Father, Word, and Holy Spirit

This differentiation benefits our human understanding of an Almighty God who has expressed Himself unto us as Father, Lord, and Holy Spirit.

These expressions are one and God is one not three in one or whatever flavor of choice we prefer. Let’s remain consistent in our expectation of understanding from God’s word (Bible) and not attempt to reason regarding God of things we can’t or haven’t read in the Bible.

With this enlightenment, Jesus, the Word in the beginning, the Son of Man and Son of God is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and God as much as the Father, and the Holy Ghost.

For the purposes of helping our understanding, God has given us an example in the flesh we can look toward and follow to know how to live as a citizen of His kingdom.

We Christians have been given the Holy Spirit to abide with us who lusteth to envy that Christ be fully formed with us through the increase of the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and our devoted practice of His way.

Jesus said if we love Him and keep His words, Father will love us and God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are one God) will come unto us and make His abode with us.

This is powerful because God is abiding with us as we are Gods husbandry, we are His building or the temple of the Holy Spirit who is God. Whether we acknowledge God as Father, Holy Spirit, or even Jesus, we are referring to one God Almighty although Jesus advises we pray to the Father in Jesus name (Jn 15:16).

When we accept that our human understanding is limited to human knowledge, we can accept that God has expressed Himself in three persons forming a perfect triunity of one God whose love toward us is expressed in the person of Jesus Christ and gave of us another comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit not leaving us comfortless.

Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are then only differentiated for our understanding of God the spirit whose worship is in Spirit and truth. We can then easily see that the Word (Jesus) is God and that His station within our understanding as the Son Of God is for our understanding of the embodiment of the finisher of God’s work and, as He said, if we’ve seen Him then we’ve seen the Father making Jesus equal to God.
