Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Yesterday was one blessing after another. I could not believe it. First the mail was light, and my new order of stamps came in in record time. It was perfect filler time before I had to leave. A beautiful drive into my mom’s. Her appointment went off without a hitch. Met a beautiful child of God at the store and we shared a hearty laugh. Traffic was light and the sun was high. Got my mother re-situated at her home and we had a lovely conversation. On my way home I met up with, accidentally, with a wonderful lady that I used to work with, and we chatted for a bit. A few aisles later, I made another woman smile when I commented on her hair. I secured a hearty hug from my sister and had a good conversation with another friend as she nervously waited for her son to pass his driver’s test. (which he did by the way). Blessings, blessings, blessings everywhere.
It has been a long time since I have just played the radio and danced in my car while I drove. Generally I have a book playing or some other podcast something. Yesterday was a complete radio day and let me tell you what, praise and worship rocked my car into town and home.
When I returned home, I began the corrections to the rough draft of my latest competition piece and before I knew it, it was past my bedtime. But I feel great. So many blessings yesterday. Today my goal is to continue the trend by blessing others as I started yesterday with random acts of love. Today my goal is to raise the spirits of all those around me and that I encounter. Shall we keep a blessing count for the day…I am going for a gazillion. Will you join me?
