Read: James 2:26

Using this definition, many people who say they are Christians are actually spiritual corpses. To be real, faith has to show itself in service and obedience. Faith doesn't just move mountains; it also moves people to do things that honor God, and bless others. This shows how grateful we are for God's amazing grace, we are not saved by works at all, (Ephesians 2:8) but by faith through God's grace, however works are the evidence of our faith (Matthew 7:19)

Prayer

Holy and Faithful Father, please forgive me when I've been lazy in my spiritual walk. Help me see the many ways I can serve You every day, and then give me the strength to use those chances in ways that bless other people. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
