Keep Growing

"The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God." - Deuteronomy 28:13

Let’s be honest, we all want to grow. No one desires to stay the same and never improve or grow in a single aspect of their life. But growth is not automatic. It is a choice. Too many people settle for mediocrity, parking themselves in a place that was meant to be temporary. They start with potential but never push forward to reach what God intended for them.

Listen, you cannot afford to get stuck in one phase of your life. God did not create you to be average. He did not call you to settle. Yet, so many people do exactly that. They get comfortable in a place that was never meant to be their final destination. They stop pushing, stop learning, and stop growing.

John Mason wrote, “Mediocrity is a region bound on the north by compromise, on the south by indecision, on the east by past thinking, and on the west by a lack of vision.” If you want to succeed, you have to rise above average. You cannot just have potential, you have to activate it. Gold in the ground is worthless until it is mined. A seed in the soil does nothing until it is watered. Potential only matters when it is put to use.

God’s word is clear. He wants His people to thrive, not just survive. But success comes through effort. The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. If you feel stuck in any area of your life, ask yourself, Am I putting in the work to grow? Are you stuck in an old mindset? A stagnant relationship? A place of comfort that no longer challenges you?

God’s plan is for you to evolve and become the best version of yourself. But you have to be willing to grow. Keep learning. Keep striving. Keep moving forward. Do not settle for less than God’s very best for your life.
