Hope you will follow along 👊 On Holy Ground © 1999 by Charles Stanley APRIL Journey to the Cross REPRESENTING: Trusting Jesus KEY VERSES: Colossians 2:6–7 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. The trip that Jesus took was planned from the foundation of the world. He was the first to make the trip: “Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem” (Luke 9:51). Since then, hundreds of thousands of people down through the centuries have followed in His footsteps. Our spiritual journey this month takes us to the cross. I invite you to come and stand once again at the foot of Golgotha. Let the cleansing blood from Calvary flow over you anew. Hear the cry from the cross: “It is finished!” Witness love in action. Like Jesus, you must steadfastly set your face toward Jerusalem. Don’t let anything prevent you from this journey of a lifetime. We have a divine destination. We’re going to the cross.
