One Minute Thoughts
by Steve Roberts
THOUGHT OF THE DAY...
"...as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken?" (1 Samuel 1:12-14)
Can you think of times you have watched someone pray silently and they move their mouth with it? I have seen it dozens of times. But; we react to things based off our experiences; what is the norm in our lives. I wonder where Eli spent most of his time, since he attributed it to drunkenness and not prayer.
