Years ago, I used to do gratitude journalling each day. I would write down five things that I was grateful for and five things I wanted to be grateful for. But had not materialized in my life yet. It could’ve been a battle I was fighting, or a need for my family or just something I wanna go to change in my heart. The scripture in Romans that says that God calls those things which are not, as though they were. As I thought on that scripture, I changed the way I was journalling and I began to write them down so they had already happened so I wrote them in the present tense. I began to notice that because of my gratitude and the way that I was praying and journalling that things began to change around. and I began to receive the things that I was grateful for, even though I had not seen them in my life before. I have just started doing this again because each day I am grateful for something even in the little things even in the things that are harsh and hard to handle there is always a blessing if you will just look at it in the right perception.
I posted my new puppies a couple of days ago and the tiniest one has not been doing well. I had to set my phone alarms to every few hours to get up and supplement feed to save this puppy life. So I am tired and at times I am discouraged, but I prayed over my puppy and I am believing God for her life and I am thanking God for her life. She is meant to be a blessing to some family who needs her.
So Lord today, I lift up my little Puppy‘s life and I say thank you for her life thank you that she will survive and thrive and become a blessing to whoever needs her. I trust you, Lord that no matter what happens it is for the right and in your will. Thank you for today.
