Good late morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

My apologies for not posting yesterday. My body decided that it was not going to get up in ample time for me to write and get ready to go into take care of mom.

Yesterday was a mom appointment day. An extensive appointment that ultimately got rescheduled due to a lack of communication between my mom and I. Fortunately, the test is not life threatening and is more of a routine, so not a huge issue. However, I believe that God instituted yesterday for something much larger than a routine test. I believe that yesterday was orchestrated so that my mother and I could have a wonderful day together. Not only did He cancel the appointment, but He also placed in our hearts to do something that we have not done in ages. Runaway.

The day was full of laughter, serious talk, lots of sightseeing, visits to family and friends, and most of all, embracing His love between us. In years past, we would ‘get lost.’ Then pray we did not run out of gas before we found ourselves. Haha. It is some of the best memories that I have with my mom. From as early as elementary school, I recall several ‘runaway’ days. The laughter was so gut wrenching that we would have get fresh air just to breathe. I believe that God gave me yesterday for a reason. None of us know our time, but we know the value of precious memories and time spent. I am extremely thankful for yesterday.

Today we flip the coin, and it is a full day doctor appointment with my husband. A treatment that seems to be correcting one of his many conundrums. While he is upstairs getting juiced, I am down in the truck getting closer to the Father. So far, I have caught up three days of bible study, watched several videos on faith and his love for us, and listened to his music. The wind has rocked this truck many times but all that has done is nearly put me to sleep.

Currently my life is like a game of Tetris. Placing appointments and work responsibilities in a suitable row to tear down the tower of blocks that the enemy keeps throwing at me. It has been a struggle; however, it is a Good thing that God is my event planner. It has all worked out just fine.

Today I encourage you to spend time with Him. Take time to visit loved ones you have not seen in a while. Make that call to the friend or sibling you have not spoken to lately. Reconnect. None of us know our time, but we know that time is precious. Respect and embrace it while you can.

Be blessed today my friends.

***Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground for it is time to seek the Lord. –Hosea 10:12
