Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

As I sit here at my desk, I can witness the glory of His presence opening up the doors of the morning to once again bless us with his beauty. I have no idea what the weatherman has stated, however, what I can see and feel just at my desk tells me that this is going to be one fabulous day in the weather. I just put the dog out on her lead and my initial visual interaction with Him this morning was confirmed when I walked outside. The temperature is fabulously just right to wake you up. The wind is only present as a whisper. The sweet serenity is hovering as a grandmother hovers over their first grandchild. The sone “Love is in the Air” … well He is.

Today is yet another doctor appointment. I was supposed to get up with my alarm over an hour ago. I heard the alarm and shut it off. I believe that only by the pressure of my bladder, I actually found the desire to get up. As I told my husband, I must be tired. Because I am up later than I planned I have a choice to make. First, I can be upset with my untimeliness and laziness and be completely unbearable OR I can do as I have … found the beauty and peace that surround me this day and enjoy the presence who obviously wanted me to sleep in. Trust me when I say, if He does not want me in bed, HE does make it, so I do not stay in bed.

Each day we are given difficulties or challenges which require us to make choices. One choice will make you miserable, the other will give you peace. I implore you to choose peace today. Bask yourself in His beauty and wonder. Feel His presence as you walk through the day. Choose peace, not only for those around you; but for yourself as well.
