Heavenly Father, As we gather on this beautiful Saturday morning, we come before you with gratitude in our hearts. We thank you for the gift of another day and for the blessings you have bestowed upon us. We ask for your guidance and protection as we navigate through the day ahead.

Father, we recognize the power of our words and how they can either build up or tear down. Help us to guard our speech and use our words wisely, following the example of your son, Jesus Christ. Let your Holy Spirit guide our words, so that we may speak with love, kindness, and understanding.

Proverbs 16:24 reminds us, "Kind words are like honey - sweet to the soul and healthy for the body." Help us to speak words of kindness and encouragement to those around us, lifting their spirits and bringing joy to their hearts.

Forgive us for any words we may have spoken in haste or anger, and give us the strength to apologize and seek reconciliation. Remind us that our words have the power to bring healing and reconciliation, as stated in Proverbs 12:18, "The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

May our speech reflect your love and grace. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
