Good morning Brothers/Sisters, I am the teacher of one of my church's 55+ adult SS classes and we are studying the Book of 1 Peter. This Sunday's lesson is called "Our Defense" and centers on the power we have in Christ to withstand persecution and trials. The passage we're reading is 1 Peter 3:13-22 and the main verse is verse 15 which reads: "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
