Good afternoon to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I know that you are used to receiving these in the morning, however, this morning was a bit off with me trying to get my books together for the craft fair at BC. I printed off business cards, price lists, payment methods and a description card that explained the three books. I got there early to set up and God blessed me with a hall spot instead of a cafeteria spot. It was very productive and seed planting conducive. A good day all around. I also got cuddles with my great nephew and play time with my great niece. She let me play with her new stuffy.

In the last few days, my schedule has been quite unique and quirky. My body is not exactly keen on getting up so that I can do my daily posts. Not sure if that is God telling me to rest or the enemy blocking me from my duties. Whichever it is, I know that He has a plan, and He will prevail.

The course of these entertaining times, I have left my trust for success in the hands of the Father. Whenever I try to take control, it never works, and I always find that I have left something out…usually pretty important. So, I have turned scheduling over to the Master Scheduler.

I watched something this morning while getting my paperwork together that made me think. I am sure you all have heard a version of this, but it is worth repeating …. As many times as necessary.

We trust people with our health needs that we do not know, only by the certificate on the wall of their office.

We get into a taxi or uber and do not know who they are but trust that they will deliver us to our destination.

We ride in planes and trains without knowing the pilot or conductor and trust they know how to operate these vehicles safely.

We trust educators with our children to teach thema and keep them safe, though we know little or nothing about them.

If we can trust these total strangers with our safety and the safety of our children … Why is it so hard to trust in God?

Are we expecting God to be a genie who is on our beck and call command? Then when he doesn’t deliver the way that WE want, he is untrustworthy.

The enemy has done a fine job at turning the concept of God into a genie figure. Or even better, that God wants us all to rich; however, the enemy plays on our human understanding of rich as in wealth and finances. When we are not in that category, then the enemy uses that to show that there is no God. Truth is, at no time did God say that he wanted us to be rich in financial means. He said that he has plans for us to prosper. The enemy has turned that into financial means.

I am not rich. I do not have an unending supply of financial means. However … I am quite prosperous. I have family, friends, a home, vehicles, and food. But most of all, I have God. I trust him with everything that I have, and he has multiplied it accordingly.

I gave four examples of strangers that I trust and that we all trust … people who I do not know. Though I have never seen His face or held his hand physically, in a sense he is invisible, I trust him more than any of those strangers listed. Why? Because I know Him.

When we study His Word, we learn about him. When we open our hearts to his teaching, we learn to know Him. Once we know Him, trust is just icing on the cake.

So my question is this … Do you trust strangers more than you trust God?

Be blessed today my friends.
