It’s not weakness to stay kind when others are cruel — it’s grace. And that grace doesn’t come from you… it comes from the Holy Spirit living inside you. When everything in you wants to fight back, speak up, or walk away — God gives you strength to choose love, peace, and patience instead. That’s not natural. That’s supernatural.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…” (Galatians 5:22, KJV)
Let this truth sink deep: The Spirit in you is greater than any darkness around you.
“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4, KJV)
You don’t have to match their cruelty. You don’t have to return fire with fire.
You have something better — the power of God to respond in grace. And every time you do, it’s a testimony that Jesus truly lives in you. So when you're tempted to snap or shut down, remember — you’re not fighting alone. Let the Spirit lead, and His kindness through you will shine brighter than any evil thrown at you.
