Someone needs to hear this. Looking at my own situation this morning, I had to make choice. Peace came as the Holy Spirit confirmed that I made the right choice.
Don’t let anything take your gaze from the Father. Situations the way they appear are not the end of the story. There are promises from the Father in His Word to rely on.
The enemy’s strategy is to flood your thoughts with the worst case scenario, that you will turn your focus from the Father and His promises to the problems that you may be facing. The moment the enemy has your attention and your focus, he will unload and assault on your thoughts that create fear, doubt and worry.
Satan is not your source, he only wants your focus, so he can convince you the outcome of your situation is going to be devastating if you dont try and fix it yourself.
The truth is, satan has no idea of what will happen in your situation. He is a liar and there is NO TRUTH in him (John 8:44). The Holy Spirit on the other hand will lead you into ALL TRUTH (John 16:13).
So it all boils down to whom you believe, the one who cannot tell the truth or the One Who is the truth.
What are you facing or going through today? Who is your faith in, a liar who does not know the outcome or the One Who is truth, that not only knows the outcome, but that is working out what you are dealing with for your good?
The Father gets no glory if you are defeated by your situation, but He is more than able to turn that situation around for your good. Your faith will reflect who you will believe. Remember, you can also have faith that the lies of the enemy will come to pass, by listening to them and walking in agreement with them, thereby believing the lies.
These thoughts that are lies are weapons formed by satan to steal your focus from the Father, where your help comes from. The Word tells us that, NO WEAPON formed agaist us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
You are the only one who will determine your outcome, by believing by faith what your Father has already promised, or believing the lies of your enemy.
If you are going through a difficult situation and the outcome appears that you are going to be overtaken; take time to meditate on Philippians 4:19. Knowing that your Father has promised to meet your need. Faith says stand and trust your Father, and fear says to trust the lies from the enemy and run to the world.
Will you commit to stand by faith, no matter what it looks like today?
