Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
In this eleventh hour with my father-in-law, I am steadfast praying that his heart is transformed. It may have been already and since I have not seen him, yet, in this eleventh hour state, I must trust that the Holy Spirit is immersed around him.
As a human race, we tend to believe that once a person chooses a path, that is the path that they will remain on. That once a person declares that there is no God, that they are destined for hell and nothing can be done. Where in some cases that maybe true, I would say that it is because no one prayed for that person…and fought for them. There are many stories in His Word that depict the changing of a person’s heart.
The first one is of Joseph’s brothers when they had to go to Egypt for food and had to ask their brother for help, though they had been evil towards him. The second one that comes to mind right off is Saul…on the road to Damascus…. He was murdering in the name of religion but quickly came to realize he was on the wrong team.
My point is that it does not matter how we start the race … it is how we finish.
If there is someone out there that you know needs Jesus, pray for them. Share with them your faith. Sometimes it does not make sense to them why we believe like we do, but as we share our witness with them, seeds are planted, watered, and eventually harvested.
As a follower, we can plant innumerous seeds throughout our lifetime and may not see the bulk of labor be harvested, but that does not mean that we stop planting. Stand with me, not only for my father-in-law, but for others who need to hear His Word and have their hearts changed.
Be blessed today my friends.
