Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Yesterday was quite a long day. Starting with a doctor appointment in Terre Haute, to stopping to see my father in law, dealing with a solid rotty who is like a toddler hyped up on candy and ADD/OCD. Followed by a hospital visit to Lafayette which is 1 hour in the opposite direction from my house as the doctor visit. So I was blessed with a tour of midwestern Indiana. Though the day was long, it was informative and beautiful. Even in the hazy part of the morning and early afternoon, God provided the perfect day for driving and for seeing His miracles.
Like I said, yesterday was informative.
First, I was affirmed in my belief that prayer warriors are needed for my father-in-law. When I asked him yesterday if he knew where he was going to spend eternity, he told me the grave yard. When I asked if he knew Jesus, he blew up. (Mind you, permission to ask him a couple of questions was requested prior. All respect for his position in the family was given.) He did also say that my brother-in-law was going to have a preacher come talk to him. So prayers are being heard for sharing the need in this hour for him to change his mind and heart.
Second, our Terre Haute doctor is over the top on board and genuinely caring for her patients. While we were in the ER, she called to check on my husband and let him know what the blood work they did on him was and to offer an explanation as to why his sugars were so high. It was almost 9 when she called. What doctor does that anymore?
Third. While in the ER awaiting all the tests and results, I watched a video of a woman who said that it took her 37 years to realize that her birthday was scripture. She posted hers and then intrigued, I looked up mine. (July 13/7:13). I did an internet search for all scripture in that realm and there were quite a few but the one that stuck out was Matthew 7:13. 9That verse is as follows: Enter through the narrow. For broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it.) What is the name of my page? (Narrow Pathways Ministries)
Yesterday was truly an educational and inspiring day. I could easily see only the dark that happened yesterday, but I have no desire to allow the enemy into my bubble. He tried when I talked to my father-in-law and then again in hospital. But each time he tried, another glimmer of Hope appeared and kicked him to the curb. Choose Light when you are sitting in a puddle of darkness. Choose Light your head is spinning out of control. Choose Light over darkness regardless of how you feel. Because once you do, the felling changes from despair to Hope.
Be blessed today my friends.
