Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Over the last few days I have been losing myself in music more than listening to my devotions. It has been like a reset for my soul. Yesterday I started the catch-up race in my devotions. I am so glad that I took that time out for music because I was able to focus more on the lessons after I did my little time out. I knew it was time to go back to listening to the devotions when I could no longer hear the messages in the music.

I must lift up some serious praises to and for my husband. His persistence paid off. He found that my wallet was found at the restaurant where I had lunch on Saturday. Though had returned there and called three times, even left my name and number, I received a “I’m sorry its not here” response. He calls and they are like, “yep, got it.” I giggle at this because I was okay with it being lost forever and already did what I needed to … to replace my license and credit cards. To be honest, I was more embarrassed when I noticed that it was missing because I was at the checkout at Walmart and could not pay for my cart. I felt bad that they were going to have to put everything back.

Yesterday I listened to four days, I think, of devotions from my two books. So, eight devotions total. My short synopsis is this, if I want to ‘prosper’ I need to show that I am happy/content with what I have and be willing to share when I am prompted to share. I need to do things with a happy heart and not grumble. If He sees that I am not greedy…that I am willing to step out in faith when he calls me, then he will be inclined to reward me with more. Whether that is more finances, more peace, more opportunities, whatever the more is, it will be there.

I can tell you that I was beginning to be frustrated with my finances and that I have not taken a cut in pay, but it seemed like paying bills was becoming more difficult. We were not doing things extravagant, nothing foolish, but the worry about bills was huge. Then I started gifting every week at church. Diligently. It wasn’t a ten percent tithe, but a sizable gift. Since that time, the stress of paying bills has gone away, and my mind has reset on what is important. Sowing into the Kingdom is how we become ‘rich.’ Maybe not by the world’s standards, but definitely by His. Personally, I prefer His.

Be blessed today my friends.
