While Pope Francis' death is sad, and there will be much appreciation for his legacy, attention has now turned to his successor. I'm interested in whether there is a deeper story at work -- whether other leaders who have been fixtures for a while might go in whatever way...at a time when chaos, deliberately provoked (not just in the expected places) might produce unexpected consequences. My view is that however dark our times, the Light of the world continues to shine and now is the time to be active in reaching out and in believing for "the year of the Lord's favour".
