Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I pray that you all had a wonderful Lord’s Day yesterday. I was able to have a delightful breakfast with my son-in-law. I was blessed with a conversation (via texting) with my daughter in law. I was blessed with a conversation (real phone call) with my son. My husband came home from the woods with a bowl full of big yellow and grey sponges. (dinner tonight for sure). Amazon delivered my new gadget so that I can see the data on the floppy disks I found a month ago. This particular blessing had me jumping for joy and praising God as loud and enthusiastically as I could; without hurting myself. Haha. On one of the disks said (Story) … who knows what that could be … It was the original draft of the first book that I wrote.

Now you may not see the other than coolness that is, but I do not have a copy of that book for myself. It is very difficult to send to a publisher for republish when you have no printed draft of it. I would have had to get a book from someone who supported me and send it off to be dismantled, scanned and then reprinted. I was having difficulty with that thought. So, to find this original draft … let’s just say I am eager to see it again and to be able to find, at least some or most, of the editing errors myself.

Another great find this yesterday was a list of information that I thought I had deleted (which I did) and would not be able to recover. I did not think that I had a printed copy anywhere. I was so happy when I, while knocking down the filing, to find it. Yes, I will have to re-enter it, however, I have it and I can make the necessary corrections to the information page I deleted it from. This is part of my journal to help the doctors understand my husband’s health better. Pretty important.

Add to yesterday’s blessings, the temperature and display of His joyfulness was in full bloom.

This morning the blessings continued. I had a great night’s sleep. I woke up refreshed. I have a beautiful song being sung outside my window. My coffee is hot. My husband also had a good night’s sleep. I only have to work a couple of hours today because of appointments. And…who knows, maybe more treasures will be found in the last three piles of papers to file. I do not think I have ever been excited about filing. But I am today.

My friends, these are just the highlights of yesterday’s blessings. I could seriously fill this page with all the wonderfulness from yesterday. As you reflect on just yesterday…how many blessings can you count. Even if it is just one….even just one is more than many can see. Take a moment this morning and give thanks for the blessings He has graciously provided. It makes the day seem so much more alive and peaceful in your heart.
