THOUGHT OF THE DAY...

"Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth..."
(Proverbs 27:2)

Pride is the often unacknowledged bane of humanity; it is an overriding stench that wafts from the Christian that drives others away. It is what caused Satan's fall (Isaiah 14) caused Sodom to burn (Ezekiel 16) and in the end, it Crucified Christ. Christians would be well served to avoid its grasp. Pride kills relationships, burns bridges and is without a doubt the reason why the broad way to destruction has "...many there be which go in thereat..." Do yourself a favor; avoid the temptation of pride by keeping your mouth shut about yourself.
