When faced with biblical FACTS that they don't like, many people will simply deny them - as if by denying them they can eliminate the truth of them.
I see it a lot, especially in regard to
Baptism by immersion in the name of Yeshua
Tongues as the only evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit
The Torah still stands
Pagan traditions like Christmas and Easter are ABOMINATIONS unto Yehovah
ALL believers are to keep the biblical Sabbath (Saturday on the world's calendar)
ALL believers are to keep the biblical Feast Days
People who claim to love Yeshua (or Jesus, depending on who you are talking to) are all about the praise and worship, they're all about the blessings, but when it comes to the SACRIFICE that is involved, when they have to PICK UP THEIR CROSS, they suddenly do a complete turn around.
Apparently, scripture is true until it offends their flesh.
But the TRUTH is, while they can deny biblical truth all they like, it doesn't change a thing.
The truth is always true and that won't change because, well, Malachi 3:6
