Here's a good selection from today's Gospel. John 6:22-29
God’s Work Begins with Faith in Christ:
When the people ask what they must do to accomplish the “works of God,” Jesus doesn’t give them a list of tasks. Instead, He points to the foundation of the spiritual life: faith in Him. For Catholics, this isn't just intellectual belief, but a living trust and response to Christ, expressed through the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, and lived out in acts of love and service.
For Reflection and Thought:
Am I seeking Jesus because I want something from Him—or because I truly want Him?
What "perishable food" am I tempted to prioritize in my life today?
How might belief in Jesus as the Bread of Life change how I live, pray, or worship—especially at Mass?
