The Supremacy of God's Word: A Heavenly Pattern for Earth May 6,2025 Psalm 119:89: "Forever, O Lord, your word is settled in heaven." - Hebrews 1:3: "Upholding all things by the word of His power." - Habakkuk 2:14: "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." In heaven, God's Word is settled and supreme, governing all things with precision and power. The heavenly realm operates in perfect harmony with God's Word, demonstrating its authority and control. God's Word prevails in heaven, and He honors His Word above His name. A Heavenly Pattern for Earth However, on earth, it's challenging to comprehend and follow God's Word due to the mixture of good and evil. The earth's demography is often alien to God's ways, which demand obedience to His Word. The invasion of God's kingdom on earth, through Jesus Christ, marked a turning point. As the manifest Word, Jesus brought rebels to their knees, and they trembled in His presence. God's Desire for Earth God desires that earth reflects the same atmospheric balance of His Word as it is in heaven. He wants His Word to govern individuals, families, and communities, filling the earth with the knowledge of His glory. As the Bible says, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14).
