I wrote this three years ago and felt the need to share it again:

I can’t sleep tonight. I thought it was to pray and talk to God, so I did. And he gave me a message. Somewhere on this platform, wether be a friend or a friend of a friend, someone needs some encouragement. Someone is feeling unworthy, unwanted, faithless, lost, and alone. Someone is feeling like they keep hitting a dead end along their travels on the road of life. Someone has hit a pothole that has completely thrown their alignment off and they’ve veered off into a field and are stuck somewhere and don’t know where they are or what to do anymore. But let me tell you something. You are not unworthy. You are not unwanted. You are not lost. And you are NOT alone! Just know that God loves you and will continue to love you. He’s your roadside assistance that’s coming to pull you back on the road again and on your way. He’s going to drive you where you need to go and, despite the damage that’s been done, despite the pain you feel, and despite the feeling of hopelessness, He is there beside you. He can repair the damage. He can repair the pain. And He can give you hope again. He WILL give you hope, peace, and joy unimaginable that’s beyond words. And just know that I am here too when you need a friend or a sister. I am here to shine a light on that dark place you are in. I am here to hold the flashlight so you can see again. And God is there with His arms open for you. That’s what God does. And that’s what we, as Christians, are supposed to do. Be there and love others through it all despite what we know about you or the past that seems to keep throwing you off alignment with His plan for you. He adds flavor to us even when we’ve lost our own. He rejuvenates us. And He preserves us. He makes promises to us and always keeps them because He never changes. He’s that one constant in our lives that never leaves nor forsakes us. Just reach out and His hand is there to pull you out of the ditch and the muck of life. Just turn to Him and never take yours eyes off of Him. Don’t allow yourself to sink because, in a moment of weakness and doubt, you stopped keeping fixed on Him. Keep going, brother or sister. He loves you and so do I.
