Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in prayer on this Thankful Thursday morning with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for another day of life, for the breath in my lungs and the beating of my heart. Thank you for the blessing of waking up to a new sunrise, with the hope and promise of a fresh start.

As I begin my day, I want to take a moment to reflect on all the blessings you have bestowed upon me. Thank you for the love of my family and friends, for the roof over my head and the food on my table. Thank you for the opportunities that come my way and for the challenges that make me stronger.

On this Thankful Thursday, I want to express my appreciation for your constant presence in my life. Thank you for your unfailing love and guidance, for your never-ending mercy and forgiveness. Thank you for always being my rock and my refuge, especially in times of trouble.

Lord, I pray that as I go about my day, I may not take a single blessing for granted. Help me to remain humble and grateful for all that you have given me. And most of all, thank you for the greatest gift of all - your son Jesus Christ, who died for my sins. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
