“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” —1 Peter 3:15

What makes you different?
Why is it that in the middle of trials, you remain steadfast? Why do peace and joy radiate from your life when the world is anxious and uncertain?
This verse reminds us that our faith shouldn’t be something we keep tucked away—it should be visible, evident, undeniable. A Christian’s life ought to provoke curiosity, causing others to ask, “How do you still have hope?” And when that moment comes, we must be ready to answer.

But notice, it starts in the heart:
"Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts..."
Our outward testimony flows from an inward reality. If Christ is truly Lord in our hearts, our lives will naturally reflect Him. Our hope in trials, our peace in chaos, our joy in sorrow—these are evidences of a life surrendered to Christ. And when people notice, we get the privilege of pointing them to Jesus.

- Is your life reflecting a hope that stands out?
- Are you prepared to answer when someone asks why you are different?
- How can you deepen your faith so that your hope is unshakable?

Have a great day, and as always, let others see Jesus in you!
