Unfortunately, I think many Christians are just as self-centered as the world. It’s easy to criticize the self-centeredness of the world, but the refusal of so many Christians to evangelize is just as self-centered. Pride is one of the top killers of evangelism. Humility frees us to not look to our own interests (worrying what they will think of me, worrying that they might not want to hang out with me) and to share the gospel with bold confidence, knowing that it is the most loving thing we can share with them. Will you deny yourself, serve God, and open your mouth to speak the good news that Christ died for sinners and rose again? “You are witnesses of these things.” (Luke 24:48) Let’s bear witness to the world around us.".
