Please pray for pastor Derek Riemer in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has been arrested numerous times. The first time was for protesting a drag queen story time for 6-8 yo at a library. Next he was arrested because his voice was too loud protesting the story time from a restricted area.
Last week, Thursday, he was showing up for a court proceeding 1 hour prior and a church rally was on court grounds in support for him and he was arrested again. This past Monday, the court decided to not grant him bail.
This means that he will be behind bars separated from his wife, newborn baby, and church family.
Sadly, violent criminals are able to get bail granted to them quickly, but a nonviolent, peaceful pastor is denied his constitutional rights.
Pray for God's will be done in this case, safety for pastor Derek, and that the crowdfunding groups will be able to meet all the legal funds for him. Pray for Mona, Derek's wife and his baby that God will provide for them and give them His peace.
