WAIT WITH HOPE

My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him.
PSALM 62:5

Today, declare your certainty that God is working everything together for your good. The last thing your heavenly Father wants you to do is to despair or passively hope everything will work out. Unfortunately, many people do just that— they skeptically wait for the Lord to open a door, complaining the whole time.

Instead, use the waiting moments of your life to pray and know God better. Praise your heavenly Father for all He has done in the past and what He is doing in the future. Likewise, use this time to prepare by actively applying Scripture to your life and helping others know Him.

Because God has a plan for your life, you can know for certain that He is using even the most trying circumstances of your life to ready you for His greater goals. As you walk with Him, He is molding and shaping you to fulfill His purposes, which fit you perfectly and will satisfy your soul. From your perspective, it may look like you are way off course, but you can know for certain that from God’s vantage point, you are right on track and following His pathway. So speak out in faith that what He has for you is good.

Jesus, I trust You are working everything together for good! Amen.
