Friendship is one of the most powerful influences in our lives, so would you say that you have the kind of friends who would drop everything if you needed help, and vice versa? Would you drop everything in their time of need?
The people we surround ourselves with shows a lot about who we are. When we surround ourselves with the ungodly, we eventually wind up following in their footsteps. But when we surround ourselves with godly individuals, we will find ourselves walking closer to God than ever before. So let us seek those friends who encourage godliness, integrity, and truth in us.
Let us ask God for discernment when choosing the friends who will draw us closer to Him, and may we also strive to be that kind of friend to others.

Lord, thank You for the gift of friendship. Help me to be wise in choosing those I walk with in life. Lead me to relationships that honor You, and help me to be a friend who encourages others in righteousness. Amen.
