Alone with God Strength in times of Struggle "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) Struggles are like crucibles that test our faith, the hotter the fire, the purer the metal. They challenge our patience, and push us beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones. Yet, in the midst of the flames, God is right there waiting to meet us with His grace. The apostle Paul knew this all too well. He pleaded for his "thorn" to be taken away, but God's response wasn't deliverance—it was instead assurance: "My grace is sufficient." Friend, sometimes God calms the storm in our lives, other times, He calms the child within us. Struggles are not signs of God’s absence, they are often invitations to discover His strength in new ways. When we are weak, His power shines the brightest. What struggles are you facing right now that you need to surrender to God? How have you experienced God’s strength in your weakness in the past?
