Heavenly Father, We come to you on this Thankful Thursday morning with hearts full of gratitude for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us. Your goodness, faithfulness, and love never cease to amaze us. Your mercies are new every morning and we give thanks for the gift of a new day.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 9:1, "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." Today, we choose to focus on all the wonderful things you have done and continue to do in our lives. We thank you for your provision, protection, and provision. We thank you for the gift of life and the many opportunities you have given us.
As we embark on this day, we pray that you would go before us, guide our steps, and strengthen our hearts. Help us to have a heart of gratitude in all circumstances, knowing that you are in control and working all things together for our good.
In Philippians 4:6, we are reminded to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to you. So, we bring our needs and concerns before you, trusting in your perfect wisdom and timing. We ask for your peace to fill our hearts and minds, calming any worries we may have. Help us to rely on your strength as we navigate the challenges ahead.
We pray for those in need today—whether they are struggling physically, emotionally, or spiritually. May they feel your presence and love surrounding them. Use us as instruments of your grace, allowing us to extend kindness and support to others.
