Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
This morning I woke up to yet another song rattling around my head. Awesome God … the remake by Phil Whickham.
For me, the original song was just fine. Easy to remember and repeat and really, said everything you needed. However, the new version compels us to realize JUST how awesome He truly is. If you have not heard both versions, I encourage you to look them up and embrace the lyrics.
As I sit at my desk, I hear the beautiful song sung by the birds outside my window. It is a handy 50 degrees of wake me up this morning and yet they are creating a warmth of morning excitement.
Today is another doctor day. Shocker, right? This one is just for me and my foot. I am not sure if I will know what to do if these appointments ever ease up. I will be lost. Haha.
I realize that there is no ‘wow’ message here or thought-provoking idea to ponder, but there is Him in all of this. He is an awesome God who deserves our respect and awe. The birds are singing a heartfelt hallelujah to the coming of the sun. The briskness of the air is the refreshing ambiance to help me focus. The doctor’s visits are the distraction I needed to realize that there is more to life than work.
When you walk your walk today, look around yourself and look at all He has provided…and give thanks.
