God wants his children to get their proper rest. If you’re burning the candle at both ends, you’re not as bright as you think you are. You’re going to burn out! You’re probably given more opportunities in one week than you could possibly take on in one month. You need to learn to manage your opportunities—because if you don’t, you’re going to drown in them.

There are plenty of things you can do with your life that may not be worth doing. Most of us know how to make a to-do list. I want to challenge you to make a what-matters-most list for your life. You need to decide what’s most important by asking God what matters most to him. (Jam 1:5)
