“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Mat. 5:20
The religious of Christ’s time were not “righteous” in God’s eye, as they trusted their religion, its traditions, and good works. That will not get anyone higher than the coffin lid. Only relying on the good work Christ did for us will get anyone a future with Him! Pastor James .
