The Sermon Of Balaam In The Church!

"But I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality." Revelation 2:14

The above warning was specifically addressed to the church in Pergamum as well as to every other churches that disregard the basic commandment given to the new testament Church.

The warning condemns the hypocritical believers for their acceptance and promotion of:
* Deceptive Teaching
* Unscriptural feasting(idol worship)
* Sexual immorality

Back in Pergamum, there were teachers/ministers who were holding the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to lure the Israelites to sin through:

1. Eating food sacrificed to idols (unscriptural feasting/celebrations and false doctrine/teaching/ministrations)
2. Worldliness and sexual immorality.
3. Worship of Anti-christ through:
i. Deceptive ministration,
ii. False doctrine/teaching
iii. Promotion/worship of self/man/power/money
iv. Compromised faith

Modern churches tolerate worldliness through motivational sermons that encourage illegal relationship, unscriptural marriages, they fail to correct those who indulge in sexual immorality, but promote them and even appoint immoral teachers/ministers/men/women to positions of leadership in order to increase the wealth of the Church.

This is exactly what we are seeing today in many churches. The teaching of Balaam was simply hypocritical and deceptive for selfish gain. Today, wealth/money/success and prosperity thing has deceived the church into believing and promoting unscriptural sermons and ministrations.

Either you are in for Christ or you are in for the devil. Come out from these dead churches if you have found yourself in any of them. Whether you believe in what am saying or not, makes no difference, the most important thing is that you have been warned. Don't say you did not know. Repent and Rededicate your life back to Christ before it's too late.
