A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

New International Version
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
People will call you out. People will mock you.
People will tell you they don't want to hear it.
People will talk down to you.
They may even tell you they don't want to be part of what you are doing.
Here's the deal.
This is part of the great commission.
I am not ashamed.
Not to share it.
Not to talk to people about it.
Not to be told all of the above.
I would rather be judged for doing what God asked than to be condemned for not fulfilling it.
Have a blessed night

- Dear Lord
Dear Lord, to you I humbly pray
For strength to make it through each day
Please guide my actions through and through
Allow my path to mirror you
I need your wisdom here and now
And to you Lord I humbly vow
Whatever plan you have for me
Whatever things I've yet to see
I'll hold your word in high regard
Ever present
Mind and heart
We need love, patience, kindness, understanding, hope, and increased faith.
So much hinges on our understanding and positive action not our lack of understanding and reaction.
Some things in this world are not fair.
We need to do better.
We need to be better.
We need community not dissention.
We need to have hard conversations to gain clarity.
We were not created for hatred.
We weren't created to fall victim to fear or to bully others.
We were created to be more, do more, love God and love people.
We have a choice.
We always have a choice.
God knows we aren't perfect. We were not created to be.
He just wants us to love each other and keep working towards peace.Dear Lord Dear Lord, to you I humbly pray For strength to make it through each day Please guide my actions through and through Allow my path to mirror you I need your wisdom here and now And to you Lord I humbly vow Whatever plan you have for me Whatever things I've yet to see I'll hold your word in high regard Ever present Mind and heart We need love, patience, kindness, understanding, hope, and increased faith. - We are studying the Book of Philippians in Church right now. As Pastor Aaron walked through Chapter 4, I was reminded of the Book of Luke:
Luke 9:23-24
New International Version
23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.(A) 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
The word daily stood out to me today.
We are human. We battle our sin nature and temptation daily. Some things we can do to make the battle easier is to pray often, read the word daily, get to know God on a more personal level, spread kindness, love, peace, joy, and do good works not for ourselves but for the glory of God.
We aren't chasing a one way ticket to heaven. Get that out of your mind.
What we are working toward is a relationship with God so that we can find the purpose He has for us.
It isn't what we think it is....it is so much more that that.

- BLESSINGS ON BLESSINGS
Word can’t explain nor convey in my heart the beauty the Lord’s made in His works of art.
The world is His canvas and with a stroke of His hand He has molded the mountains and each grain of sand.
The moon and the stars are so vibrantly lit and His people are all fascinated by it. We stand in wild wonder and gaze up in awe whether daybreaks first light or the fading nightfall.
I’m reminded with all of these created things, what He values much more than gold, diamonds, or rings.
While creating the ocean, the rivers, the seas, the grapes on the vines, or details on the leaves. He remembered with everything He had to do. He remembered and took time to create me and you.
With blessings on blessings, through trial and through pain. With each passing moment taking nothing in vein. I call on you Father and praise your good name for without you my whole life just wouldn’t be the same.BLESSINGS ON BLESSINGS Word can’t explain nor convey in my heart the beauty the Lord’s made in His works of art. As goes the season,
so goes my soul.
From moments of youth and as I’m growing old.
Each memory an ember of ash floating by as I stare ever curious and as tears fill my eyes.
I count precious seconds amounted to years. Blessed by the minutes and cursed by my fears.
As goes the seasons, so goes my soul. Time marches on as I lose control.
Have I accomplished all I’m meant to do? What was my impact? What’s there left that’s new?
As goes the season, my soul is at rest.
“It is finished”you stated. You completed the test.
As goes the season, my soul is alive. You’ve readied the groomsmen and taken your bride.
You’ve died in my place. You’ve stricken down pride. You’ve slain all of sin. There’s no need to hide.
As goes the season, my soul has found peace.
Your blood, wooden cross, conquered death.
Sweet release.
It is well with my soul, all the world has been spared.
As goes the season, with the love you have shared.
