John 3:16 KJV
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I was sitting in church on Sunday when a preacher went in front to preach on offering. He said he was going to change this verse to say for God love His people that he gave His only begotten son. I understood he was trying to encourage people to give but forgetting even Jesus Himself said He did not come to change the word.

If the verse had said God so loved the people, was there any purpose for the creation? Does not the word say all creation sing of His Glory? Could His focus really be on His people alone and not what He created before humans existed?

In Romans 8:22-23 KJV
[22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Well food for thought. Does God really considers people above His creation?
