    The Gift of Willingness

    2 Corinthians 8:12 (NKJV)

(For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what
    he does not have.)

God delights in willingness more than wealth. He looks at the heart before the hand. Paul reminds us
that generosity is measured by readiness, not resources. Gratitude fuels that willingness—it reminds
us that we’ve already received more than enough in Christ.

Week 2: Giving Freely concludes here: God values the giver’s desire, not their dollar amount. When we give with willing hearts, He accepts it as worship. The smallest offering, when given gratefully, carries eternal weight.

A willing heart is powerful—it opens the door for God’s abundance to flow through us.

    Reflection Questions:

    1. Am I more focused on what I lack than what I can give?

    2. How can I keep a willing heart even in lean times?

    3. What does God want me to give from what I already have?

    Prayer:

Father, thank You for accepting my willingness more than my worth. Help me to give cheerfully and with pure motives. Use my gratitude to inspire generosity that honors You. Amen.

    Practical Application:

    ● Offer a skill, prayer, or encouragement as a free gift to someone.

    ● Reflect on how God values your willingness, not your wealth.

    ● Write a prayer dedicating your resources to God’s use.

    Takeaway Thought:

God blesses a willing heart far beyond what it holds in its hand.
