Monday Encouragement — Now Let Us Live What We Believe Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Yesterday we had the wonderful privilege of gathering with God’s people on the Lord’s Day. We worshiped our sovereign God, heard His precious Word proclaimed, prayed together, and were reminded once again of the saving grace that is ours through our Lord Jesus Christ. But now Monday has arrived. The worship service has ended, but our worship has not. Today we return to our homes, workplaces, ministries, communities, responsibilities, and challenges. And this is where the truth we heard yesterday must become visible in the way we live today. It is easy to proclaim our trust in God while surrounded by fellow believers on Sunday. The greater challenge comes on Monday when difficulties return, unexpected problems arise, and the noise of this world begins competing for our attention. Yet the God we worshiped yesterday is the same God who walks with us today. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” — Hebrews 13:8 Whatever this week brings, let us resist the temptation to immediately depend upon our own understanding and strength. Before making decisions, pray. When difficulties arise, pray. When opportunities appear, pray. When someone needs encouragement, ask God to give you the words to speak. And wherever the Lord places us this week, let us remember that we carry something this world desperately needs—the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not called merely to observe the darkness around us. We have been commanded to carry the Light into it. There may be someone God places before you this week who needs to hear that there is hope. Someone may need to experience Christian compassion. Someone may simply need to see through your life that Jesus Christ truly makes a difference. Let us therefore begin this week asking one simple question: “Lord, how can You use me today for Your glory?” “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” — Colossians 3:23 May the Lord guide our steps, guard our hearts, strengthen our faith, and give us courage to faithfully proclaim Christ wherever He sends us. Yesterday we gathered to worship. Today we go forth to serve. Serving Christ Together for His Glory Alone. Soli Deo Gloria.

Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. As another week draws to a close, it is time to loosen our grip upon the pressures and concerns of this world and turn our hearts toward the worship of the only true and living God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Throughout this week we have carried responsibilities, faced difficulties, heard troubling news, and perhaps experienced circumstances we did not expect. Some burdens may remain unresolved even today. But our sovereign God has not changed. He was faithful on Monday. He sustained us through Wednesday. And He remains faithful today. As we approach the Lord’s Day, let us bring every burden before Him. We do not need to carry the weight of the world into worship as though everything depends upon us. Our Heavenly Father already knows every need, every fear, every unanswered prayer, and every struggle. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 What a privilege awaits us on the Lord’s Day—to gather with the people of God, open His precious Word, hear the Gospel proclaimed, lift our voices in praise, pray together, and worship the One who redeemed us through Jesus Christ. Let us prepare our hearts now. Let us turn down the noise of the world and turn our attention toward Christ. Let us spend time in prayer and Scripture. Let us examine our hearts, confess our sins, forgive others, and come before our merciful God with humility and thanksgiving. And when we gather for worship, let us not merely attend another service out of habit or tradition. Let us come hungry for God’s Word and ready to give Him the worship He alone deserves. “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.” — Psalm 95:6 The problems of this world will still be waiting when the weekend is over. But we will face them differently when our hearts have been refreshed in the presence of God and our eyes have been fixed once again upon Jesus Christ. So let us finish this week with gratitude and prepare ourselves for the Lord’s Day with joyful expectation. Our God lives. Our Savior reigns. His Word remains true. His mercy endureth forever. Wednesday Encouragement — Thankful for His Faithfulness Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. As we reach the midpoint of another week, let us pause from our responsibilities and concerns and simply say, Thank You, Lord. There is so much for which we can give thanks. Our sovereign God has sustained us, provided for our needs, answered prayers according to His perfect will, and granted us blessings that we sometimes overlook in the busyness of everyday life. But today I am especially thankful that God continues to keep the Gospel flowing. The world may be troubled, governments may change, economies may struggle, and opposition to biblical truth may increase, but none of these things can stop the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Across nations and cultures, God’s Word continues to be proclaimed. Churches are being established, pastors are preaching, believers are being discipled, children are learning Scripture, families are being encouraged, and precious souls are hearing about salvation through Jesus Christ. What a privilege that our Lord allows us to participate in His work! We must always remember that this ministry belongs to Him. Every open door, every person reached, every church strengthened, and every life transformed is evidence of His grace—not our accomplishments. Paul reminds us: “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6 We plant. We water. We pray. We give. We serve. But God gives the increase. So today, rather than concentrating upon everything that is wrong with the world, let us rejoice in what our sovereign God is doing within it. Let us thank Him for every person who faithfully prays for this ministry, every supporter who sacrificially gives, every pastor who courageously proclaims His Word, and every believer who quietly serves Christ where God has placed them. And let us pray that the Gospel will continue flowing into homes, villages, communities, and nations until countless more hear the wonderful truth that Jesus Christ saves. “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 107:1 May gratitude fill our hearts today, and may we never cease giving glory to the One who makes all things possible. Monday Encouragement — Our Sovereign God Still Reigns Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. As we begin another week, the condition of our world has not suddenly changed. Wars and rumors of wars continue, nations struggle with uncertainty, economies create anxiety, and political leaders offer countless plans and promises for solving the problems confronting humanity. Yet as followers of Jesus Christ, we must continually remind ourselves of one unchanging truth: Our sovereign God is still upon His throne. Our hope must never rest upon presidents, prime ministers, governments, political parties, military strength, or human wisdom. God may certainly use leaders and nations to accomplish His purposes, but Scripture reminds us that ultimately He alone rules over the affairs of mankind. “For the kingdom is the LORD’S: and he is the governor among the nations.” — Psalm 22:28 Therefore, we should not allow every headline or political development to control our peace. Instead, Scripture commands us to pray for those in authority. We pray that God will grant them wisdom, restrain evil, protect the innocent, and accomplish His sovereign purposes through them—even when they themselves may not recognize His hand. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority…” — 1 Timothy 2:1–2 There is an important difference between being informed about the world and being consumed by it. We should care deeply about suffering, injustice, war, poverty, and the difficulties facing our neighbors. But we must never carry these burdens as though the future depended entirely upon human beings. Instead, take them to the throne of grace. Pray for our nation. Pray for the nations of the world. Pray for those in authority. Pray for peace. Pray for the persecuted Church. Pray that doors will continue opening for the Gospel. And above all, pray that men and women everywhere will repent of their sins and turn to Jesus Christ. Whatever happens this week, remember: God has not surrendered His authority. Christ is still Lord. His Word remains true. His purposes cannot be defeated. Let us therefore begin this week not with fear, but with prayer; not trusting in human power, but resting confidently in our sovereign God. “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 May the Lord keep our eyes fixed upon Christ and make us faithful witnesses of His Gospel in an anxious and troubled world. Friday Encouragement — Giving God All the Glory Blessings, dear brothers, and sisters in Christ. As we come to the close of another week, my heart is filled with thanksgiving to Almighty God for His amazing grace and for the privilege He has given this very small but effective ministry to carry the compelling truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ into Pakistan. Today, as the people of Pakistan celebrate their Independence Day, we rejoice with our brothers and sisters there and pray for their nation. We thank God for every door He has opened for the Gospel, every church that has been established, every pastor and ministry worker faithfully serving, and every precious soul who has heard the name of Jesus Christ proclaimed. Our ministry may be small by the standards of this world, but we serve an Almighty God whose power is without limit. The effectiveness of any ministry does not depend upon its size, wealth, or recognition. It depends entirely upon the sovereign Lord who chooses to use ordinary servants to accomplish His extraordinary purposes. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6 Today, let us especially pray for the Church in Pakistan. May believers grow strong in their knowledge of God’s Word. May pastors courageously and faithfully proclaim the whole counsel of God. May new believers become mature disciples of Jesus Christ. May Christian families remain steadfast in their faith and may the light of the Gospel continue shining into places where spiritual darkness remains. Let us also pray for peace—not merely the temporary peace that governments and nations attempt to establish, but the true and everlasting peace that can only be found through Jesus Christ. Our world desperately needs that peace. Wars continue. Nations struggle. Families suffer. Fear and uncertainty surround millions of people. Yet the message entrusted to the Church remains unchanged: Jesus Christ is still Lord.
Jesus Christ still saves.
Jesus Christ is still our only true hope. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1 As we prepare for the Lord’s Day, may we rejoice in what our sovereign God is accomplishing throughout the world and humbly thank Him for allowing each of us to participate through our prayers, our giving, our service, and our faithful proclamation of His Word. May the Church of Jesus Christ grow strong in Pakistan and throughout the nations, and may the peace of Christ reign in hearts around the world. To Almighty God alone belongs every victory, every transformed life, every opened door, and every measure of glory. Serving Christ Together for His Glory Alone. Soli Deo Gloria.

Wednesday Encouragement Blessings, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. We have reached the midpoint of another week. On Monday, we reminded ourselves that although the world around us appears to grow darker, we have been entrusted with the one Light that darkness can never extinguish—the Lord Jesus Christ. But now comes the challenge: Will we continue to shine when we become tired, discouraged, or distracted? It is easy to begin the week with enthusiasm. It is more difficult to remain faithful when responsibilities increase, prayers seem unanswered, and the pressures of this world begin demanding our attention. Yet Christ has not called us to shine only when circumstances are favorable. He has called us to remain faithful wherever He has placed us. We must remember that we do not produce the Light—we reflect the One who is the Light. Therefore, our strength does not come from ourselves. We must continually return to Christ through prayer and His Word, asking the Holy Spirit to strengthen us for the work before us. There may be someone God places in your path today who desperately needs encouragement. There may be someone searching for truth who needs to hear the Gospel. There may even be someone quietly watching your life to see whether the Christ you proclaim truly makes a difference when difficulties come. Do not underestimate what our sovereign God can accomplish through simple faithfulness. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts…” — 2 Corinthians 4:6 So as we continue through the remainder of this week, let us not become weary or distracted by the darkness around us. Let us keep our eyes upon Jesus Christ, stand firmly upon His Word, pray continually, and faithfully carry His Gospel wherever He sends us. The darkness is great, but Christ is greater. May our prayer today simply be: Lord, keep my light shining. Give me the courage to speak Your truth, the compassion to demonstrate Your love, and the faithfulness to glorify You in everything I do. Monday Encouragement 8-10-26 Blessings, dear brothers, and sisters in Christ. Once again, we begin our journey into a new week, entering a world that appears to grow spiritually darker with each passing day. We see confusion replacing truth, fear replacing faith, and mankind increasingly looking to itself for answers rather than turning to the sovereign God who created us and sustains us. Yet we must never become discouraged by the darkness, because we have been entrusted with the one true Light that darkness can never extinguish—the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus declared: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” — John 8:12 What an extraordinary privilege and responsibility has been given to us. We have received the Gospel, not merely to treasure it privately, but to proclaim it faithfully. Christ has commanded us to carry His truth into a world desperately searching for hope. We do not need to curse the darkness; we need to faithfully shine the Light. Every person we encounter this week represents an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ and, when God provides the opportunity, to share the saving truth of the Gospel. A conversation, an act of compassion, a word of encouragement, or a simple testimony of what Christ has done can become an instrument in the hands of our sovereign God. Jesus told His disciples: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” — Matthew 5:14 Therefore, let us not hide the Light God has entrusted to us. Let us carry it boldly into our homes, workplaces, communities, churches, and throughout the nations. The darkness may increase, but it will never overcome Jesus Christ. Our Sovereign Lord has commanded us to go. Our responsibility is to faithfully proclaim His Word, love those He places before us, make disciples, and leave the results entirely in His hands. So as we begin this week, let this be our prayer: Lord, wherever You send me today, help me faithfully shine the Light of Christ so that others may see Jesus through my words and my life. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 May we enter this week without fear, carrying the Gospel confidently into the darkness and remembering that the Light we proclaim can never be extinguished.
