My Pastor posted this, this morning and I wanted share with you all!
The Crossing Church [NWI]
This morning on my way to the YMCA at 5am felt different.
Usually the roads are alive even before sunrise. Families pushing strollers. People walking dogs. Bike riders passing by. Little glimpses of life everywhere.
But today?
Nothing.
The roads were empty. The atmosphere felt heavy. Gloomy. Quiet.
Then as I got closer to the Y, ambulances and fire trucks came flying past me. Sirens screaming. People rushing somewhere in panic.
I pulled over and waited as they passed… and suddenly one thought hit me hard:
“This is what it will feel like when Christ returns.”
One moment life looks normal.
The next moment people are gone.
Cars left running.
Jobs abandoned.
Homes half empty.
Phones ringing with no answer.
Parents searching for children.
Spouses searching for husbands or wives.
Chaos. Fear. Confusion.
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:2
For the true believer, that day will be glorious.
The suffering ends.
The fight is over.
Faith becomes sight.
But for those who do not know Christ…
What terror that day will bring.
Not everyone who knows church knows Jesus.
Not everyone raised in church belongs to Christ.
Some know religion but have never had relationship.
Some inherited Christianity from their parents but never surrendered their own heart to God.
Matthew 7:21 says:
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…”
That scripture should shake people.
Some will mock this post.
Some will say, “Here’s another rapture post.”
Fine.
But one day people will wish they listened.
One day people will wish they had more time.
One day people will wish they took the warnings seriously.
These ARE the warning signs.
The world is spiritually blind.
People can discern trends, politics, sports, and celebrities… but cannot discern the season we are living in spiritually.
Jesus rebuked this in Matthew 16:3:
“You can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”
The Bible is unfolding in front of us.
Everything is lining up.
What once sounded impossible is becoming reality.
We are watching people normalize sin, mock truth, hate righteousness, love evil, and grow cold toward God exactly like scripture said would happen.
Spiritual blindness is dangerous because blind people don’t know they’re blind.
And the scariest deception is thinking you’re saved when you’ve never truly surrendered to Christ.
Jesus is coming back.
Not as a baby.
Not as a teacher.
Not as a suffering servant.
He’s returning as King.
You do not need another sign to repent.
You do not need another warning to wake up.
This is the warning.
Open your eyes before it’s too late.
And before anyone twists this, let me be clear: I’m not claiming to know the day or the hour Christ is coming back, because the Bible makes it clear that no one knows.
But just because we don’t know when doesn’t mean we ignore the warnings that He is.
Jesus is coming.
