    #REKINDLE_THE_EMBERS

#2_Timothy_1:6 That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the gracious gift of God, the inner fire that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands with those of the elders at your ordination.

This is a very important reminder and yet an instruction, that not only Timothy but also all of us should take into consideration. You know embers are these glowing charcoal pieces in a stove, yes they are glowing, fire is there but there is no flame. So when you blow air with your mouth into the stove, the Embers form a flame . Or sometimes we use something like a big flat plate to work as a fan, blowing air into the stove, then flames will be everywhere, that's why another way of rekindling the embers is to fan the flame.

What is the Spirit of God communicating to us? Every born again child of God has glowing embers. The fire is there in the heart of every believer. And God wants you to be effective and impactful, where your life everyday carries experiences and adventures of the Holy Ghost. God doesn't enjoy it when you are dormant. And that's why He is saying to you that you rekindle the embers and fan into the flame that which is in you. Dormancy is the birthplace of religion and Christianity is not a religion but a life.

Now in the Bible time and culture, they didn't have the modern cooking techniques like the use of gas or electricity such microwave and hot plates. They used coals. We know coal as one source of energy. And so whenever any man wanted to do cooking or roasting, the coals had to be hot. And so every child of God should be a hot coal, with a flame of fire for effectiveness. The wise king wrote and asked a question; #Proverbs_6:28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?

Child of God, why do people walk with and around you and they don't get burned? Why do people get close to you and yet stay carnal? Are you a burning hot coal or a cold one. Can one go up on a hot coal and his feet not be burned?

Fan into flames, rekindle the embers that gift which is in you. It's not the time of being concealed, it's the time of manifestation. This generation has been groaning in expectation waiting for the time of revival and that time is now.
