People often smile and say,
“You must be closer to God up there.”
The truth is…
I’ve discovered something even more beautiful.
God isn’t closer because I’m in the sky.
He’s just as close in the darkest valleys of life.

I’ve asked Him that too.
As a little girl, I endured years of abuse.
Later, while I was pregnant, I survived a brutal attack that could have taken both my life and my baby’s.
I spent more than 25 years serving in Africa, where I witnessed incredible joy, heartbreaking suffering, and God’s faithfulness through it all.
Looking back, I discovered one life-changing truth:
God never left me.
When I was afraid…
He became my peace.
When I was weak…
He became my strength.
When I wanted to give up…
He gave me hope.
People often ask me,
“After everything you’ve been through, how can your faith still be so strong?”
My answer is simple.
My faith isn’t built on an easy life.
It’s built on a faithful God.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him.” — Psalm 28:7

If you’re asking,
“God… where are You?”

God loves you.
