WHAT SHOULD OUR PRAYER BE?

Prayer is more than asking God for things. Prayer is a time to open our hearts to God, ask for forgiveness, seek His wisdom, and surrender our lives to Him.

We can pray for: A heart filled with love
The strength to forgive
Strength during difficult times
Peace when we are worried
Wisdom to make the right choices
Courage to follow Jesus
A life that reflects Christ

The most important prayer is not only, “Lord, change my situation,” but also, “Lord, change me.”

May our words, thoughts, and actions become more like Jesus every day.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

CHRISTIANITY IS MORE THAN A NAME

Being a Christian is not only about saying, “I believe in Jesus.” True faith should be seen in the way we live, the way we treat others, and the way we respond when life becomes difficult.

Jesus taught us to love, forgive, serve, pray, show compassion, and walk in truth.

Our faith should not remain only in our words. It should be visible through our actions.

Ask yourself today:

Do I love others?
Do I forgive?
Do I help those in need?
Do I follow God’s Word?
Can people see Christ through my life?

Let your life reflect Christ. Let your actions speak louder than your words. And wherever you go, let people see the love of Jesus through you.

Psalm 19:1-14 CEB
Heaven is declaring God’s glory; the sky is proclaiming his handiwork. [2] One day gushes the news to the next, and one night informs another what needs to be known. [3] Of course, there’s no speech, no words—their voices can’t be heard— [4] but their sound extends throughout the world; their words reach the ends of the earth. God has made a tent in heaven for the sun. [5] The sun is like a groom coming out of his honeymoon suite; like a warrior, it thrills at running its course. [6] It rises in one end of the sky; its circuit is complete at the other. Nothing escapes its heat. [7] The LORD’s Instruction is perfect, reviving one’s very being. The LORD’s laws are faithful, making naive people wise. [8] The LORD’s regulations are right, gladdening the heart. The LORD’s commands are pure, giving light to the eyes.
