• Let's talk about it.
What if the greatest problem in our lives isn't that we have too little time for God?

    What if the problem is that

    We still pray.
    We still worship.
    We still read our Bibles.
    We still go to church.
    We still serve.

But somewhere along the way, God becomes something we fit into our lives rather than the One around whom our lives are built.

And Numbers 1 gives us a picture that we should not miss.

When Israel was in the wilderness, God gave Moses specific instructions concerning the tabernacle.

The Levites were to camp around it.
And the rest of Israel was to camp according to their tribes and standards.

    Why?

Because the tabernacleโ€”the place representing God's dwelling among His people was at the center.

Israel's camp was not randomly arranged.
Their lives were literally organized around the presence of God.

    The Lord said:

    Think about the picture.

The tabernacle was in the middle.
    The Levites surrounded it.
    The tribes surrounded them.

That was more than an arrangement of tents.
It was a picture of how God's people were meant to live.

God was not supposed to be somewhere on the edge of Israel's life.

    He was not an afterthought.
He was not something they visited when they had time.

And perhaps that is where we need to stop and look at our own lives.

Because whatever sits at the center of your life will eventually determine the direction of everything around it.

If comfort is at the center, your decisions will revolve around comfort.
If money is at the center, your life will revolve around gaining and protecting it.
If approval is at the center, your peace will depend on what people think of you.
If success is at the center, your worth will rise and fall with your achievements.

Even ministry can become the center.
Even family can become the center.
Even good things can take the place that belongs to God.

When God is no longer at the center, everything else slowly begins to take a place it was never meant to occupy.

Israel's arrangement in Numbers reminds us of something we often forget:

God was not meant to be placed somewhere within the arrangement of our lives. He is meant to be the center around which our entire lives are ordered.

But here's where the gospel becomes beautiful.

God didn't merely tell Israel to arrange their camp around His presence.

And then, centuries later, something even greater happened.

    John 1:14 says:

The God who dwelt among Israel in the tabernacle came near to us in Jesus.

    Christ entered our wilderness.
    He came into our brokenness.
    He came into our disorder.

And He came not merely to become part of our lives,
but to become the center of them.

God can be in our lives without being at the center of our lives.

You can give Him an hour on Sabbath and still organize the rest of your week around yourself.
You can pray to Him and still make every major decision without Him.
You can serve Him and still build your identity around something else.
You can carry His Word and still arrange your life around your own desires.

    So today, don't simply ask:
โ€œWhere is God in my life?โ€

    Ask:
โ€œWhat is my life arranged around?โ€

    What sits at the center?
    What determines my priorities?
    What controls my decisions?
What gives me my sense of worth?

Because whatever is at the center will eventually shape everything around it.

    Israel had a center.
And that center was the dwelling place of God.

    We have Christ.

So let Him be more than a part of your life.
Let Him be the One your life revolves around.

    Not in the background.
    Not on the edge.
    Not when you have time.

Because when Christ is at the center,
everything else can finally find its proper place.
Let's talk about it. What if the greatest problem in our lives isn't that we have too little time for God? What if the problem is that • Sometimes we look at the cracks in our lives and wonder if we are too broken to ever be whole again. But God does not see what we see.

In the Potterโ€™s hands, brokenness is not the end of the story. He takes every shattered piece, every painful season, every failure, and every scarโ€”and with hands full of grace, He begins shaping again.

The clay may not understand the pressure of the Potterโ€™s hands, but the Potter already knows what He is creating.

    You are not beyond repair.
You are not too damaged for His purpose.
You are still in His hands.

    Rip Off the Mask

    By Shelley Quinn

    August 14th, 2026

โ€œKeep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.โ€ Psalm 34:13

Finishing a brief therapy session, I slumped down on the side of my hospital bed. A charge nurse popped into my room to ask how I was doing.

    โ€œGreat,โ€ I smiled. โ€œHow was your sonโ€™s game?โ€

After our quick exchange I turned back to my therapist who sat on the window ledge, shaking his head.

โ€œYou are your own worst enemy, Shelley!โ€

My puzzled look prompted his further explanation. โ€œI know you well enough now to know that when your pain becomes intolerable, you breathe in short gasps and perspiration beads on your forehead. But, you smile and gloss over your condition with a friendly word. Most people canโ€™t be cheery when theyโ€™re suffering, andโ€”heyโ€”medical personnel are trained to determine treatment by reading facial expressions.โ€

He had worked with me earlier that month during my first week of hospitalization, following a five-hour spinal surgery. I suffered several complicationsโ€”including nerve damage in my groins and an irreparable rotator cuff tear. Now, I had been readmitted because I couldnโ€™t walk.

He called it correctlyโ€”brutal pain surged through my back, groins, and shoulder. His gentle rebuke echoed words from my distant past, when a spinal surgeon called me โ€œmy own worst enemyโ€ for the same reason.

Iโ€™m a โ€œgrin-and-bear itโ€ kind of gal. Not wanting to be perceived as a whiner, I mask the truth with a smile, using verbal camouflage to hide my brokenness.

Donโ€™t pity meโ€”you likely hide behind the same deflection technique. Have you ever arrived at church heavy-hearted, and when someone asked how youโ€™re doing, you replied, โ€œDoing great! Happy Sabbath! Later, you headed home with the same sadness, and no one had the opportunity to pray for you. Or you laugh off hurt feelings following a cutting remark, and never privately confront the abuser. Or a loved one asks, โ€œIs something wrong?โ€ and you hide your frustration with โ€œNo! Iโ€™m fine.โ€

People are not mind readers! Our words define us. When we express ourselves honestly, we become visible. When we hide behind a mask of verbal camouflage, we are invisible to others. Some of us wall in our pain, andโ€”sadlyโ€”we often feel as if no one really cares.

    Verbal camouflage is deceitful.

I get it! We donโ€™t want to wear our feelings on our sleeves. But we need to figure out an honest response to the casual question, โ€œHow are you?โ€ If youโ€™re not doing fineโ€”donโ€™t lie about it. While you donโ€™t want to gush out unwanted details, a simple, โ€œIโ€™ll get better!โ€ or โ€œIโ€™m trusting the Lord!โ€ or โ€œIโ€™m blessed, no matter what!โ€ are some of the possible responses. If the person is unknown to you, or too busy to stop for discovery, theyโ€™ll go on. If, however, they respond, โ€œTell me about it!โ€ you will know God placed that person in your path to comfort you.

Letโ€™s rip off the mask and get real!

  • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - MONDAY, 17TH AUGUST, 2026.*

*I WILL WAIT FOR MY CHANGE TO COME*

    Scripture:
โ€œIf a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.โ€ โ€” Job 14:14 (KJV).

*Reflection โ€“ Your Waiting Season Is Not Your Final Season:*
Job 14:14 expresses the heart of someone passing through a difficult season but refusing to give up hope. Job understood that life has appointed seasons, and he chose to wait for his change.

There are moments when we pray and do not immediately see the answer. There are seasons when progress appears slow, doors seem closed, and circumstances do not look the way we expected. But delay does not mean denial, and a difficult season does not mean that God has abandoned us.

Today, God is reminding you that your present condition is not necessarily your final destination. Continue to trust Him. Continue to pray. Continue to work faithfully. Continue to believe.

Your appointed time is in God's hands, and He is able to bring change when the time is right.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
Today, I declare that my waiting shall not be wasted. I will wait upon the Lord with faith, patience, and confidence, knowing that He is working even when I cannot see what He is doing.

I declare that my change shall come. Every season of stagnation, delay, disappointment, limitation, and frustration shall give way to a new season according to God's perfect purpose for my life.

Today, I receive grace to remain faithful while I wait. I shall not abandon my faith because of temporary difficulties. I shall not allow disappointment to make me forget God's promises.

I declare that the Lord is preparing me for the next chapter of my life. He is developing my character, strengthening my faith, increasing my wisdom, and preparing me for opportunities that are aligned with His purpose.

I proclaim a new season over my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. May God bring renewal wherever there has been weariness, restoration wherever there has been loss, and progress wherever there has been stagnation.

I declare that every legitimate prayer I have committed into God's hands shall receive His perfect response. Where God says yes, may the door open. Where He says wait, may I receive grace to wait. Where He says no, may I have the wisdom to trust His better plan.

Today, I refuse to be defined by my past. My previous failures shall not determine my future. My disappointments shall not cancel my destiny. My mistakes shall not prevent God from accomplishing His purpose in my life.

I declare that new opportunities shall arise according to God's will. New strength shall come upon me. New ideas shall flow. New doors shall open. New testimonies shall emerge.

I proclaim that my hope in God shall remain alive. Like Job, I shall continue to trust the Lord even in difficult seasons. My faith shall survive the waiting period, and my testimony shall glorify God.

    My waiting has a purpose.
    My season will change.
    My hope is alive.
    My God is faithful.
    My change shall come!

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

    *Action Steps for today:*
Begin with thanksgiving: Thank God for sustaining you through every season of your life.

Read Job 14:1โ€“14: Reflect on Job's perseverance and his decision to wait on God.

Declare: โ€œI will wait for my appointed time; my change shall come according to God's perfect will.โ€

Surrender your timeline: Give God your expectations, deadlines, and unanswered prayers.

Keep working faithfully: Do not allow waiting to become an excuse for inactivity. Continue doing what God has placed in your hands.

Encourage someone: Remind someone who is going through a difficult season that their present situation is not the end of their story.

End with praise: Thank God in advance for the change, restoration, and testimony He is preparing.

    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
Thank You because You are the God who holds my times and seasons in Your hands. Thank You for sustaining me through every difficult and uncertain season.

Lord, give me grace to wait patiently for my appointed time. When I become tired, strengthen me. When I become discouraged, renew my hope. When I cannot understand what You are doing, help me to trust Your wisdom.

Bring change into every area of my life that needs Your intervention. Bring restoration where there has been loss, progress where there has been stagnation, healing where there has been brokenness, and renewed strength where there has been weariness.

Bless my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. Let Your perfect will be accomplished in every area of my life.

Help me not to compare my journey with the journey of others. Teach me to trust Your timing and remain faithful to You while I wait.

I believe that my story is not over. My season will change. My hope is in You.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

    *Blessing for today:*
May the Lord strengthen you in every waiting season. May He give you patience without frustration, faith without fear, and hope without disappointment.

May every season of delay turn into a season of divine fulfillment. May the Lord renew your strength, restore your joy, establish your plans according to His will, and bring beautiful changes into every area of your life.

May your family, ministry, work, business, studies, and destiny experience fresh grace and divine advancement (Amen).

The season may be challenging, but God is still faithful. Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep working. Keep believing.

    Your waiting has a purpose.
    Your faith will not fail.
    Your season will change.
    Your testimony shall come.

โ€œI WILL WAIT... TILL MY CHANGE COME.โ€ โ€” JOB 14:14

Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, hopeful, and testimony-filled new week!
    Shalom!

Amen! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ”ฅ โœ…*Action Steps for today:* 1๏ธโƒฃ Begin with thanksgiving: Thank God for sustaining you through every season of your life. 2๏ธโƒฃ Read Job 14:1โ€“14: Reflect on Job's perseverance and his decision to wait on God. 3๏ธโƒฃ Declare: โ€œI will wait for my appointed time; my change shall come according to God's perfect will.โ€ 4๏ธโƒฃ Surrender your timeline: Give God your expectations, deadlines, and unanswered prayers. 5๏ธโƒฃ Keep working faithfully: Do not allow waiting to become an excuse for inactivity.

  • Need to know.
5 DANGEROUS WAYS YOU OPEN DOORS TO THE ENEMY, WITHOUT REALIZING IT.

WARNING! THIS IS A BIBLICAL TEACHING.

The Bible warns believers to be spiritually alert because we are in a spiritual battle.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." โ€” 1 Peter 5:8ยป

Satan cannot force anyone to sin, but he tempts people into habits that can pull them away from God and harden their hearts.

    1. INTOXICATION

Anything that takes away your self-control can make you spiritually vulnerable. Whether it's alcohol or drugs, intoxication clouds judgment and can lead to other sins.

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." โ€” Ephesians 5:18ยป

    ยซ"Be sober-minded; be watchful." โ€” 1 Peter 5:8ยป

God calls His people to live with clear minds and self-control.

    2. SEXUAL IMMORALITY

God designed sex for marriage. Sexual sin damages our relationship with Him and affects both body and soul.

    ยซ"Flee from sexual immorality." โ€” 1 Corinthians 6:18ยป

The two shall become one flesh." โ€” Genesis 2:24ยป

The enemy often uses lust to trap people in guilt, shame, and brokenness, but Christ offers forgiveness and freedom to those who repent.

    3. UNWHOLESOME WORDS

Your tongue has power. Constant insults, gossip, lies, and curses can wound others and reflect what is in the heart.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue." โ€” Proverbs 18:21ยป

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up." โ€” Ephesians 4:29ยป

As followers of Christ, our words should bring truth, grace, and encouragement.

    4. UNCONTROLLED ANGER

Anger itself is not always sin, but uncontrolled anger can lead to hatred, violence, and bitterness.

Be angry, and do not sin... do not give the devil a foothold." โ€” Ephesians 4:26โ€“27ยป

Forgiveness and humility close the doors that bitterness tries to open.

    5. UNREPENTANT SIN

When people continually reject God's correction and refuse to repent, their hearts become hardened.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." โ€” 1 John 1:9ยป

Jesus didn't come to condemn us but to save us. No matter how far you've fallen, His mercy is greater than your past.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." โ€” James 4:7ยป

The answer is not fearโ€”it's repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, prayer, reading God's Word, fellowship with other believers, and daily obedience to the Holy Spirit.

May God strengthen everyone struggling with temptation, addiction, anger, or sexual sin. May the Lord Jesus Christ break every chain, restore every broken heart, and fill you with His peace, holiness, and power. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

  • From a childhood marked by poverty, illness, and abuse, Ben Brady learned early that survival would take more than willpower โ€” it would take grace. Raised in a home shadowed by alcoholism, abandonment, and pain, he grew up searching for hope in a world that seemed determined to take everything from him.
Then, in a rainy Lowell doorway, he encountered the gospel and found a Savior who could redeem even the most broken life. What followed was a journey of faith, forgiveness, music, and unexpected calling โ€” a story of how God uses suffering, stubbornness, and ordinary moments to shape a life for His purpose.
Honest, redemptive, and deeply human, this memoir is a testimony to the power of God to bring beauty out of brokenness and to lead one man from surviving life to serving it.

  • Taking Time To Know God: Through The Psalms
Scripture: “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.” —Psalm 34:18 (NKJV)

Reflection: Brokenness is not a detour—it’s often the very place where God meets us most tenderly. The Psalmist doesn’t say God fixes the brokenhearted from afar—He comes near. Nearness is His posture toward pain. When our hearts are heavy, when our spirits are low, He doesn’t demand strength—He offers presence. To know God is to trust that He doesn’t wait for us to be whole before He draws close. He enters the ache. He sits with us in the sorrow. And in time, He heals—not always quickly, but always faithfully. Brokenness is not the end of the story—it’s the place where grace begins.

    Invitation:
Where am I feeling broken or weary?
Can I let God be near, even here?
What does healing look like today?

Prayer: God of mercy, You see the places in me that feel tender, tired, or torn. You do not turn away from my brokenness—you come close. Let Your nearness be my comfort, and Your presence be my healing. I don’t ask for quick fixes—I ask for faithful companionship. Sit with me in the sorrow. Speak peace into the pain. Restore what needs restoring, and hold what still hurts. I trust that You are near, even when I feel alone. And I welcome Your grace into every fractured place. Amen.

  • *Today's Prophetic Declaration - Wednesday, 12th August, 2026.*

*JESUS IS WILLING TO MAKE ME WHOLE*

    Scripture:
โ€œAnd Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.โ€ โ€” Mark 1:41 (KJV).

*Reflection โ€“ The Compassionate Touch of Jesus*

In Mark 1:41, a man suffering from leprosy came to Jesus with faith and humility, asking to be cleansed. Jesus was moved with compassion, reached out His hand, touched him, and declared, โ€œI will; be thou clean.โ€

This beautiful encounter reveals the heart of Christ. Jesus is not distant from human suffering. He sees, He cares, and He is able to intervene. The compassionate touch of Jesus brings hope where there has been rejection, restoration where there has been brokenness, and cleansing where there has been defilement.

Today, whatever situation you bring before the Lord, approach Him with faith. The One who touched the leper is still the compassionate Savior. He is able to restore, renew, strengthen, and transform according to His perfect will.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
Today, I declare that the compassion of Jesus Christ surrounds my life. The Lord sees me, knows my situation, and cares about every detail concerning me. I shall not be forgotten, abandoned, or overlooked, because I am held securely in His loving hands.

I declare that every area of my life that needs the touch of Jesus shall receive His gracious intervention. Where there is brokenness, let there be restoration. Where there is weakness, let there be strength. Where there is sorrow, let there be comfort. Where there is confusion, let there be divine direction.

Today, I receive the cleansing power of Christ. Every burden of sin, guilt, shame, bitterness, and spiritual contamination is surrendered to Him. By His grace, I receive forgiveness, renewal, and a fresh desire to walk in holiness and obedience.

I declare that the compassionate hand of Jesus shall rest upon my family, ministry, work, business, studies, and every area of my life. May He restore what has been damaged, strengthen what is weak, and establish what is according to His perfect purpose.

I proclaim that every situation that has made me feel rejected, isolated, or discouraged shall be touched by the love of Christ. The Lord shall restore my dignity, renew my confidence, and surround me with people and opportunities that align with His will.

Today, I receive courage to bring my needs honestly before Jesus. I will not allow fear, shame, or disappointment to keep me away from Him. I believe that He is compassionate, faithful, and powerful, and I will continue to trust His wisdom and perfect timing.

I declare that the grace of God shall sustain me throughout this day. His mercy shall speak for me, His favor shall surround me, and His peace shall guard my heart. Every good thing He has ordained for me shall come to fulfillment according to His will.

I proclaim that my life shall become a testimony of the compassion of Christ. What God has done for me shall encourage others to seek Him, trust Him, and experience His transforming grace.

    Jesus sees me.
    Jesus cares for me.
Jesus is able to touch my situation.
Jesus is my hope, my Savior, and my Healer.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

    *Action Steps for today:*
Begin your day by thanking Jesus for His compassion, mercy, and unfailing love.

Read Mark 1:40โ€“45 and meditate on the compassionate response of Jesus to the man who came to Him.

Declare: โ€œLord Jesus, touch every area of my life that needs Your grace, restoration, and transforming power.โ€

Bring one specific burden before Jesus in prayer and surrender it completely to Him.

Show compassion to someone today through encouragement, kindness, forgiveness, or practical help.

Avoid allowing shame, fear, or disappointment to keep you from approaching God in prayer.

End the day by thanking Jesus for every evidence of His mercy and compassion.

    *Prayer:*
    Compassionate Lord Jesus,

Thank You because You see me, You know me, and You care about everything concerning my life.

Like the man who came to You in faith, I bring my needs, weaknesses, burdens, and struggles before You today. Stretch forth Your gracious hand and touch every area of my life that needs Your intervention.

Cleanse me from every sin and renew my heart. Heal my brokenness, restore my joy, strengthen my faith, and give me grace to walk faithfully with You.

Touch my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and every area of my life. Where there is difficulty, make a way according to Your will. Where there is weakness, give strength. Where there is sorrow, bring comfort. Where there is delay, give me patience and confidence in Your perfect timing.

Help me to reflect Your compassion to others. Make me an instrument of love, encouragement, forgiveness, and hope.

Lord Jesus, I trust You because You are compassionate and faithful.

Touch me, transform me, restore me, and use me for Your glory.

In Your mighty name I pray. Amen.

    *Blessing for today:*
May the compassionate hand of Jesus rest upon you today. May He touch every area of your life that needs His intervention, restore what has been broken, strengthen what is weak, and fill your heart with His peace.

May His mercy speak for you, His grace sustain you, and His love surround your household. May your life become a beautiful testimony of the goodness and compassion of Christ.

May you experience the transforming touch of Jesus today and throughout this month.

    Jesus sees you.
    Jesus cares for you.
    Jesus is able.
    His grace is sufficient.

Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, peaceful, and testimony-filled mid-week
    Shalom!

  • "Out of the Low Dungeon"

    (Lamentations 3)

The book of Lamentations is filled with real-life sorrow that foreshadows the undeserved suffering of Jesus Christ and mirrors the brokenness we all experience before being brought into the light of the Gospel.

The author describes the effects of sin, devastation, loneliness, and hopelessnessโ€”realities that are still present in our generation. At times his words sound like deep complaints, yet instead of remaining in despair, he calls upon the LORD for rescue.

    This points us to Christ.

Jesus entered the deepest "low dungeon" of all. He was rejected, crucified, buried in a tomb, and truly tasted death for us. Yet death did not have the final word. Lamentations declares:

"I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. Thou hast heard my voice..." (Lamentations 3:55

And God's response is one of the most comforting words in all of Scripture:

    "Fear not."

    (Lamentations 3:57)

These two words are a beautiful glimpse of our Father's heart toward us, His children in Christ.

We live in a frightening world. Every day is a battle against sin, suffering, temptation, and death. God never promised that this earthly journey would be easy. But He has given us our daily portion:

    The life of Jesus Christ

    through His Word,
    His Spirit,
    and His promises.

In Him we receive courage for today,
    wisdom for each step,
and assurance of the eternal life to come.

Jesus Himself declared the Father's will:

"And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day." โ€” John 6:39

The One who heard the cry "out of the low dungeon" is the same Lord who raised His Son from the grave. Therefore, everyone who belongs to Christ has this unshakable hope: the darkness is not forever, the tomb is not the end, and the final word over God's redeemed people is not fear, but resurrection.

    Fear not. Christ has overcome.

    Prayer:

    Heavenly Father,

Out of my own low dungeon, I call upon Your name. You see every burden, every disappointment, every wound, and every hidden tear. When I am overwhelmed by depression, hopelessness, and brokenness, remind me that You are near to those who call upon You in truth.

Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, who entered suffering, conquered death, and rose again so that I may have living hope. Replace my fear with Your peace, my despair with Your promises, and my weakness with the strength found in Your Word.

Teach me to trust You one day at a time until the day I see You face to face. Help me to hear Your gentle voice saying, "Fear not."

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
