If you’ve prayed for the fulfilment of a Bible promise that didn’t materialise, you may have wondered, felt disillusioned, or even stopped trusting. What’s true is that every promise in the Book intended for you, is yours! God is committed to keeping every promise He has made (Matthew 24:35). So how can you know which Bible promises are yours? Here are some scriptural guidelines to help you: 1) Be sure you understand the promise. God is committed to His Word, not to your interpretation of it. When Jesus said, ‘…Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up’ (John 2:19 NKJV), His audience completely misunderstood Him, thinking He meant the literal temple when He meant His body. 2) Walk in the Spirit, not the flesh. Walking in the Spirit, Peter received divine understanding of Christ’s deity. When Jesus asked, ‘Who do you say I am?’ Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘…this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father…’ (Matthew 16:15-17 NIV). Soon afterwards, walking in the flesh, the same man totally misunderstood Jesus and was severely rebuked by Jesus (Matthew 16:21-23). Why? Because ‘…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God…nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned’ (1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV). Really? Not so. The Christian is challenged, rather, like Habakkuk, to plead for revival among the turmoil. There are many contemporary cases of revival in addition to the one in Bible days. Jonah was used by God to bring Revival to the people of Nineveh where all the 120,000 inhabitants got convicted and converted. There were revivals in Israel during the time of king Hezekiah and Josiah. The Early Church also experienced great revival immediately after the Pentecost. When there is spiritual coldness and indifference to spiritual things, when there is no clear distinction between the world and the Church, when saints are distracted from heavenly desire to earthly preoccupation, then revival is needed. When the saints are weak, powerless and fainting in scriptural conviction and consecration, then we need revival. When formalism and entertainment fill our worship instead of true and holy devotion to God and heavenly things, revival is needed. In order to experience revival, there must be deep concern and burden for prayer coupled with passion for revival. It takes a revived person to be an instrument of revival. *1. The Man of Prayer* a. The man God uses must be a man of bended knees with power of prayer. *"A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.”* Habakkuk was not merely a prophet who preached; he was also a man who prayed. His direct communication with God was not clogged. God could express His mind and vision to him clearly and He also could hear from God and communicate with God effectively and fruitfully. He was a true servant of God that stood between God and man as mediator. He lived a life that was pleasing to God and God could speak to him about people. He dwelt in the midst of compromised and corrupted people without being defiled and with boldness to declare unto them their sins and evil as God had told him without fear or favour. His response to the difficult circumstances surrounding Judah was to seek God. The spiritual condition of a nation should drive God's servants to their knees. Revival begins when someone becomes sufficiently burdened to pray as he comes out of the cocoon of self seeking and self satisfaction. b. There is no revival that ever came in human history without people who had the passion and power of prayer from God. Habakkuk's prayer demonstrates that prayer is not a sign of weakness, but an expression of dependence upon the Almighty. The revival God wants to bring may begin with one person who is willing to stand before Him in persistent intercession. Churches need prayer warriors who will carry the burden of their generation before God. The praying saints or warriors that bring revival concentrate their prayers on heavenly things and not on earthly benefits and blessings. Earnest, consistent and persistent prayers by holy people with deep burden and passion for the glory of God, salvation of souls and perfection of saints are indispensable to a true God sent revival. *Question* Am I sufficiently burdened by the spiritual condition of my generation to become a man or woman of prayer? *2. The Manifestation of Passion* *"O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid"*. Habakkuk's prayer reveals intense spiritual passion. Having heard God's Word and understood His dealings with His people, he was moved deeply. He was such a person that was not indifferent to the Word of God. The Word of God moved, burned and melted his heart. It became fire in his bones that only revival could quench. First he heard the voice of God. Second he was afraid. He was like Noah who, after hearing the Word of God, believed and *"being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house"* (Hebrews 11:7). True passion for God is not passive. It actively engages in things that will bring change and revival. b. Passion for revival means longing to see God glorified, sinners saved, believers renewed and righteousness restored. Habakkuk did not ask God merely to improve circumstances; he asked Him to revive His work. True revival passion is therefore God-centred rather than man-centred. We must pray until spiritual hunger replaces spiritual complacency. *Question* Does my prayer life demonstrate a genuine passion for God to revive His work in my generation? *3. The Mercy from the Potentate* a. What does this world need desperately from God? Mercy! The degree of worldliness and ungodliness are inexcusable. Man deliberately lives his life, spurning His Word and commandments as if God does not exist. Saints' lives are soiled with carnality, worldliness and corruption. Their focus has shifted from serving the Lord to what mundane things the Lord will give to them. b. Passionate prayer for the mercy of God is an indication that we accept that God has been offended and He is angry at us because of our coldness and carnality. It should always be a prayer point constantly. *“In the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.”* Habakkuk recognized God as the sovereign Potentate who has authority to judge, revive, restore and show mercy. He therefore pleaded, *“in wrath remember mercy.”* Revival cannot be manufactured by human ability; it must come through divine mercy and sovereign intervention. The prophet understood that although God's people might deserve judgment, God's mercy could provide restoration. This should encourage us to approach God humbly and plead for mercy upon the Church, families, communities, and nations. When God shows mercy, dry bones can live again, cold hearts can burn again and His work can flourish again. *Question* Am I humbly pleading with the sovereign God to remember mercy and revive His work in our generation? What decision are you making to be an agent of revival in your church and community? *Prayer Points* 1.O Lord, make me a man/woman of prayer, burdened continually for revival and spiritual awakening🙏. 2.O Lord, ignite within me an unquenchable passion for Your glory and the advancement of Your work 🙏. 3.O Lord, the sovereign Potentate, revive Your work in the Church, in families and throughout our nation 🙏. 4 Lord, in wrath remember mercy; pour out Your Spirit, save the lost, restore the backslidden and let genuine revival come upon our generation 🙏. *HYMN:* Come Holy Spirit *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 22-25. 2. The spirit of assumption: Lessons from the Life of King David 👑 We partner with this principality every day. We assume we know someone’s heart, we assume we know how a situation will end, or we assume our secrets are safe. But history shows that partnering with this principality is the quickest way to ruin relationships, leadership, and lives. Look at the web of toxic assumptions that surrounded King David in the Bible: ❌ What others assumed ABOUT David Samuel assumed Jesse’s oldest son Eliab was God's chosen king based entirely on his tall, noble appearance. Jesse assumed David was too young, insignificant, and unqualified to even be called from the fields to meet the prophet. Eliab (his brother) assumed David was an arrogant, vain thrill-seeker who only came to the battlefield out of malice, mockingly asking who was watching his "few sheep." King Saul assumed David was just an inexperienced kid who could not possibly survive a physical fight with a veteran giant like Goliath. Goliath assumed he could easily crush David, mocking his youth and his simple shepherd's staff. King Hanun of Ammon assumed David's comforting messengers were actually hostile spies sent to map out and overthrow his city. King Achish of Gath assumed David had become fiercely loyal to him and hated Israel, completely unaware David was secretly raiding Philistine allies. The General Public assumed he was a lawless, desperate rebel when he fled Saul; assumed he ordered a political hit when Abner died; and assumed God had permanently cursed and abandoned him during Absalom's rebellion. Assumptions made by David's men The Quick Vengeance Assumption: In the cave of En Gedi, when King Saul entered alone, David's men instantly assumed God had delivered Saul to be killed (1 Samuel 24:4). They assumed David's path to the throne required assassination, and they were shocked when David chose mercy instead. The "All is Lost" Assumption at Ziklag: When the Amelakites burned their town and captured their families, the men assumed David was completely to blame for the tragedy (1 Samuel 30:6). In their grief, they assumed stoning David was the only logical response, momentarily forgetting his years of faithful leadership. The Spoils of War Assumption: After rescuing their families, the greedy men in David's army assumed that the 200 exhausted soldiers who stayed behind to guard the baggage didn't deserve a share of the recovered goods (1 Samuel 30:22). They assumed rewards belonged only to those who physically fought. Assumptions made by Michal (His First Wife) The "Vulgar Fellow" Assumption: When David danced dynamically before the Ark of the Covenant, Michal watched from a palace window [2 Samuel 6:16]. She assumed his ecstatic praise was not genuine worship, but rather cheap, vulgar exhibitionism meant to show off in front of young servant girls [2 Samuel 6:20]. The Status Assumption: Coming from royal blood as King Saul's daughter, she assumed a king should always maintain rigid, aloof, and majestic dignity. She assumed David was degrading the royal office by stripping down to a simple linen garment. Abigail (His Second Wife) The Imminent Bloodshed Assumption: When her first husband, Nabal, insulted David, Abigail immediately assumed David was on his way to slaughter every male in her household [1 Samuel 25:22]. She didn't wait around; she assumed David’s wrath was volatile and fast-moving, prompting her to intercept him with gifts to prevent a massacre. The Inevitable Royalty Assumption: While David was still a hunted fugitive living in caves, Abigail assumed his ultimate rise to the throne was an absolute certainty [1 Samuel 25:28-30]. She explicitly told him she knew God would build him a lasting dynasty, assuming his current hardship was just temporary. Bathsheba (His Most Famous Wife) The Absolute Monarchy Assumption: When David summoned her to the palace after watching her bathe, Bathsheba likely operated under the assumption that a king's command could not be refused or questioned [2 Samuel 11:4]. In the ancient Near East, challenging a king’s sexual summons often meant death or ruin for a woman and her family. The Protection Assumption: After her husband Uriah was killed, Bathsheba assumed marrying David would bring her security, legitimacy, and protection for her pregnancy. She later assumed she had to aggressively secure the throne for her son Solomon when David grew old and passive, knowing her life depended on it [1 Kings 1:15-21]. ⚠️ The dangerous assumptions David made HIMSELF: The Cover-Up Assumption: David assumed he could permanently hide his adultery with Bathsheba by engineering Uriah’s death, learning the hard way that death doesn't silence secrets. The Prideful Census Assumption: David presumed that taking a national military census—fueled by self-reliance—was a harmless administrative task, ignoring warnings and violating divine law. The Political Trophy Assumption: David assumed pulling Michal away from her new husband to reclaim her as a wife would easily solidify his political claim, miscalculating her deep trauma and resentment. The Despair Assumption: For the first time, David assumed God’s protection had an expiration date, telling himself "Saul will destroy me," which drove him straight into enemy territory as a double agent. The Survival Assumption: In a moment of deep despair, David assumed God’s protection had an expiration date and told himself, "Saul will destroy me." This single assumption drove him straight into enemy territory. The Takeaway: We See how this principality wreaked havok in David's life. People will misjudge you based on your appearance, your past, or their own insecurities. But the real danger lies in the assumptions you make when you are desperate, prideful, or trying to hide a mistake. While we all been afflicted by this spirit at some point in our lives, if your life looks anything like David's, I urge you to seek deliverance. Stop guessing. Stop assuming. Check your heart, look at the facts, and trust the truth over your feelings, and God's Word over this spirit's deception.

Daily Bible Lesson. THE MARK OF THE BEAST: THE FINAL TEST OF WORSHIP—TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE! THE GREAT CONTROVERSY IS ULTIMATELY ABOUT WORSHIP The mark of the beast is not merely about politics, economics, or technology. At its deepest level, it is about worship, loyalty, obedience, and allegiance. The final question will be: Whom will we worship? Whom will we obey? Whose authority will we recognize? “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 Truth leads us to Christ. Falsehood leads us into deception. Apostasy leads people away from God's Word. And in the final crisis, every person will face a decision concerning worship and allegiance. 1. REVELATION 13 WARNS OF A FINAL CRISIS Some Christians are uncomfortable discussing the prophecy of Revelation 13. But ignoring prophecy does not make it disappear. Revelation 13:1–3, 15–17 describes a powerful system that receives worldwide influence and causes people to worship the beast and its image. It also describes economic pressure connected with the mark: “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” — Revelation 13:17 This is a solemn prophecy. It points to a final conflict involving: Worship Authority Obedience Religious freedom Economic pressure Allegiance to God versus allegiance to the beast Daniel 12:1 also speaks of a coming time of trouble unlike anything previously experienced. The final crisis will not be a small matter. But God's people do not need to live in fear. Our confidence is not in human governments, political systems, or earthly institutions. Our confidence is in Jesus Christ. 2. THE FINAL BATTLE CENTERS ON WORSHIP The first angel's message declares: “Fear God, and give glory to Him… and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” — Revelation 14:7 Notice the central issue: WORSHIP THE CREATOR. Revelation 14 presents God's final message to the world, calling people to: Worship the true God. Give Him glory. Reject Babylon's deception. Refuse the mark of the beast. Keep “the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:6–12 The final controversy is therefore not simply about which church we attend. It is about whom we worship and whose authority we accept. 3. TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE—BUT TRUTH MUST BE OBEYED Jesus said: “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 Truth is not merely information. Truth calls for a response. When God reveals truth to us, we must decide whether we will: Accept it. Believe it. Follow it. Obey it. The Bible warns against apostasy and spiritual deception. “Let God be true, but every man a liar.” — Romans 3:4 Our protection in the final crisis will not be simply knowing prophecy. It will be having a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and being firmly grounded in His Word. Know Jesus. Know His Word. Follow His Spirit. Stand for truth. Obey God rather than human pressure. 4. OUR ONLY SURE PROTECTION IS JESUS CHRIST The greatest preparation for the final crisis is not fear. It is surrender. Our only sure protection is to give our lives completely to Jesus. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” — Matthew 22:37 When we truly love God, we will desire to: Please Him. Honor Him. Obey Him. Love others. Stand for truth. Remain faithful under pressure. The final crisis will reveal where our loyalty truly lies. If Jesus is first in our hearts today, we will be better prepared to stand with Him tomorrow. 5. GOD'S FINAL WARNING WILL REACH THE WHOLE WORLD It may seem difficult to understand how someone could be lost for choosing deception. But Scripture teaches that God's final message will be proclaimed to the world. “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15 “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” — John 1:9 And Revelation 14:6 describes the first angel's message as the everlasting gospel going to: “Every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.” God does not want anyone to be lost. He warns before judgment. He sends light before darkness. He sends truth before deception. He sends a message before the final crisis. The three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6–12 are therefore a solemn call to the world. The issue is not whether God has provided enough light. The question is: What will we do with the light God has given us? 6. THE SABBATH AND THE FINAL QUESTION OF WORSHIP The Sabbath is deeply connected with the worship of the Creator. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8 “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is.” — Exodus 20:11 Revelation 14:7 echoes this creation language: “Worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” For Seventh-day Adventists, this connection highlights the Sabbath as a central issue of worship and allegiance in the final conflict. The final crisis will involve a conflict between: God's authority and human authority. Biblical truth and human tradition. True worship and counterfeit worship. Obedience to God and obedience to human commands. However, we must be careful not to claim that every person who worships on Sunday today already has the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is connected to the final crisis and enforcement described in Revelation 13. The Bible's warning concerns a future, deliberate choice of allegiance in opposition to God's revealed truth. Revelation 13:16–17 Today is the time to study, learn, pray, and follow Jesus—not to condemn sincere people who may not yet understand these truths. 7. DON'T WAIT FOR THE FINAL CRISIS TO DECIDE WHO YOU WILL SERVE The greatest mistake would be waiting until the crisis arrives before developing a relationship with Jesus. Character is being formed today. Every choice matters. What we watch. How we speak. How we treat others. What controls our appetites. How we use our resources. Whether we obey God's Word. Whether we pray. Whether we respond to the Holy Spirit. The final crisis will reveal what has already been developing in the heart. Joshua declared: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.” — Joshua 24:15 The decision is personal. The decision is urgent. The decision is eternal. 8. COME OUT OF BABYLON—COME INTO THE LIGHT OF TRUTH God gives a final call: “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins.” — Revelation 18:4 This is not a call to hate people. It is not a call to attack sincere Christians. It is a call to leave error and embrace truth. Leave deception. Leave compromise. Leave spiritual confusion. Leave cherished sin. Leave every teaching that contradicts God's Word. And come fully to: Jesus Christ. His Word. His truth. His grace. His commandments. His righteousness. 9. THE ARK IS STILL OPEN—WILL YOU ENTER? In Noah's day, God provided an ark. Only those who entered were saved from the Flood. “Come thou and all thy house into the ark.” — Genesis 7:1 Today, Jesus is still calling people to salvation. The greatest Ark of safety is Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus is our refuge. Jesus is our salvation. Jesus is our righteousness. Jesus is our only hope. We should never present any earthly church as if it can replace Christ as the Savior. The church has a mission. The remnant has a message. But Jesus alone saves. The safest place in the final crisis will be the place where your heart is fully surrendered to Christ and your life is firmly anchored in God's Word. THE FINAL QUESTION IS SIMPLE: WHOM WILL YOU WORSHIP? The mark of the beast is ultimately about allegiance. The seal of God represents God's ownership and authority. The final conflict will expose the difference between: Truth and error. Faithfulness and apostasy. Obedience and rebellion. True worship and counterfeit worship. God's authority and human authority. But remember: Jesus is calling you now. Truth is still available. Mercy is still extended. The Holy Spirit is still pleading. The door of salvation is still open. Do not wait for the final crisis to decide. Choose Jesus today. Study His Word today. Obey His voice today. Love Him today. Stand for truth today. WHEN THE FINAL TEST OF WORSHIP COMES, MAY WE BE FOUND STANDING WITH JESUS. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12 A FINAL APPEAL Lord Jesus, Give us discernment to recognize truth. Give us courage to reject deception. Give us humility to receive correction. Give us wisdom to understand prophecy. Give us love for those who do not yet understand. Give us strength to stand when the world pressures us to compromise. And above all, give us the faith of Jesus—a faith that trusts You completely, loves You supremely, and remains faithful to Your Word. May we never receive any mark of allegiance to a system opposed to You. May our loyalty belong entirely to Christ. May we stand with the faithful in the final conflict and proclaim with courage: “WE WILL WORSHIP THE CREATOR!” “WE WILL FOLLOW JESUS!” “WE WILL STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD!”

HEAVEN IS YOU OR ME IN CHRIST THE MESSIAH Many people carry misplaced understanding of the Bible. How? When they asked Jesus Christ about the Kingdom of God , HE said that it is here and now which means that when you accept the Messiah by being sorry for your sins, confessing them and allowing Christ into your dead spirit or soul then a rebirth that is heaven sets in. HEAVEN is simply delight or Garden of Eden or soul plus spirit plus body of peace and joy in God. The heaven that is you and the heaven of being with God or in the bosom of God like Father Abraham. That's why our master and King taught us simple prophesy of the kingdom in the LORD'S prayer :"Let they kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven". (Matthew 6:7 - 14,,10)The first kingdom of God that should come is on earth, focusing on you as an individual and expanding to others and to the outermost parts of the earth. The second kingdom is when we leave this world then the resurrection and the eternal dominion in Christ's presence. Every prayer that we pray must cover all these areas of heavenly realm. You can't pray only for the wealth of the world, protection, or everything concerning the world without praying for future unseen activities or the whole heavenly plans of God. You pray for yourself as heaven because you carry light and this light carrying is equivalent to you as salt of the earth which is why the scripture says that out of your belly or my belly shall flow rivers of living water. The belly herein is your soul and Spirit and physical body that carry the Holy Spirit of God after acquiring Acts 2:1 ff experience then you're confirmed just as our master who sets the pace was in the Baptism and Transfiguration. Acts 2 is the stamp and mark of God that you have been made in the image of God which is equivalent to carrying heaven in earthly vessels. As a heaven, you are no longer human because you carry God just like the ark of God and the Ark of Noah that teach and represent a prophetic reality. You as Ark of Noah must be willing to carry every living thing in your sojourn by feeding, taking care of them, protecting them and loving them like Noah did for those days the Ark was on the water. The Water that kept them afloat represent the Living Water (Let the Living Water flow over my soul; Let the Holy Spirit come and take control.... all my cares and burdens I lay on to you -Jesus Christ -) or Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ same as the Ark that carried them just as being in the cleft if the Rock. Remember that Moses was also hid in the Cleft of the Rock because he wasn't pure enough to behold God or Christ's glory as a brazen personality of Spirit. As a clay carrying heaven, our lives must never be ours again which is the mistake many seasoned men and women of God make and are still where they are defecating constant spiritual defecation (the life of randometricity which was the vocabulary of the Holy Spirit to me years back which is not in any dictionary on earth now). As heaven, we are now the Ark of God as the firmer ark of wood has no relevance now because God has left that Ark empty but dwelling in us which is Immanuel or Emmanuel and rightly put is God in man dwelleth. As heaven in earthen vessels we are gods or little gods carved out of the breath of God for God put HIs life force in man at creation before sin and came back passing through the cross to deposit it back again.

The Scripture records, “Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” So I thought: If Noah, for some reason, had not followed the exact specifications You gave him in building the ark and missed something very important, when faced with the tempestuous storm, would it have sunk? Perhaps if that had happened, there would be no humans in existence to discuss the disobedience that led to the destruction of humanity. Maybe describing it as disobedience is a stretch; perhaps partial obedience would be a better description. I am grateful that he did exactly as he was commanded, but what if he had not? Doesn’t this illustration reveal that how we go about an assignment is equally as important as completing it? When I ponder this, I become afraid of the inconsistency in our dealings with destiny. We may not be faced with dire consequences like where the survival of humanity hangs on the thread of one man’s obedience, but what would be the result if we consistently imposed our excuses and inconsistencies on destiny’s requirements? Like situations where we study, but not as we should; pray, but sometimes cease; do church, but without commitment; and strive to do just enough to water down the guilt of doing nothing, yet never apply ourselves to meeting the required standard.
