Yet God specializes in opening doors that no human influence, opposition, or circumstance can shut. His authority is greater than every obstacle, and His plans cannot be overturned by man. The believers in Philadelphia were not known for great power or influence, but they remained faithful to God. Because of their faithfulness, the Lord Himself set before them an open door.
